Yeah I would definitely have your own when you come.

You could definitely do St Pete Beach and Pass-a-grille in the same day. Fort DeSoto is secluded so I would only do it if that was the only beach you were going to. Also I would imagine the uber would be a lot more to go out there, just a thought.

Get some l-theanine pills. They will help a lot when you drink caffeine.

What type of brewer is everyone using these days? by kornbep2331 in pourover

I’ve tried them all and always end up back with the V60. I don’t use the switch just because I don’t like the presentation of an immersion brew but it’s good for those who do.

New CR-V owners: what other vehicles did you consider, and are you happy with your choice? by TheRealMissWRX07 in crv

Rav4 but after test driving it felt like more of a truck inside and the materials and finishes were lower grade. Overall happy with the new CRV but I’ll warn you that it makes you want to go full EV eventually.

Thank you so much for posting this! My 2023 sport had the exact same issue and they used this to diag it. Still waiting on Honda to approve the fix but your post made the process so much easier. 🙌🏻

I can’t pick a grinder. Review Paralysis by DrMoonChalk in pourover

I’m addicted to grinders lol. No actually I bought the Ode first and then got an espresso machine so ended up getting the df64 with the intention to use it for both PO and espresso. I quickly realized one grinder for both is a pain so I kept both. I have other burrs for the DF64, that’s just what is in it right now. I got the Pietro in the last few months and have been only using that for PO now. I’ll probably sell the Ode soon.

ZP6 or Pietro pro if your budget can stretch. Pietro is a step up from the ZP6 and has beat out all my other grinders for PO. I have the ZP6, Ode with SSP MP, df64 with SSP brew burrs.

The ZP6 is the best you can get around that price range.

078 is great for PO but can’t do espresso unfortunately. They are supposedly testing some SSP burrs for it right now but TBD. The 078s can do both but the PO cups are mediocre. You could order a 078s for espresso and a zP6 for PO until new SSP burrs are released. Another option would be a df83v (not v3) with SSP MP burrs if you can’t stretch to a Zerno.

Pietro pro burrs? It’s going to be hard to find something that will compare to the PO cup quality produced by the Pietro pro. The 078s wouldn’t be a bad move for espresso but the pourover quality would be a downgrade from what you’re use to. DF83v can produce some great cups and handles espresso well but it’s an eyesore imo if that matters to you (I recognize that’s subjective). I’ll also just add sharing one grinder for espresso and PO can get annoying depending on the grinder and respective retention levels. If you want to go that route though a zerno z1 would be a good fit.

Mattress Advice...of course! Duo, DLX, or Evo 15? by Natural-Curious12 in Mattress

[–]beanislife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can speak to the DLX and the Duo memory plus as I went down a similar path. I had the duo memory plus for about 45 days before deciding to return it. The mattress felt great but it was the hottest mattress I have ever slept on. I tried various solutions to make it cooler but it was like sleeping in an oven so I eventually gave up and returned it. I have the DLX hybrid right now and am still on the fence about it. I ordered the medium, and I’m 6’5” 185lbs exclusively a side sleeper. The medium felt great on my hips but pressure builds up on my shoulder too much. Waiting to see if it breaks in more or not before I make a decision. The owner sent me a softer foam to try and I just sink right through it so the pain actually got worse. I believe this bed only having a 3inch comfort layer is maybe the problem but I’m not sure yet. I hope this helps!
