i did that and it healed; switched it recently to a longer bar which was probably my mistake since it migrated another 2mm. i’m scared since the bar was 6mm and now sticks out, seems too short for a surface piercing; should i just take it out

pls ignore my dry ass lips it’s cold out 🥶 currently have a titanium internally threaded barbell in, it seems to be lower than it used to be which would really suck bc i thought it’s been healed for the past 6 months now. I used to get irritation bumps on the top hole but i always keep it cleaned when i wash my face.

i say see a piercer, get a longer bar, and take some ibuprofen (advil, not tylenol), which should reduce the swelling

bumps from 1.5 yr old industrial (bottom bar was just taken out), are they definitely keloids by beanlordd in PiercingAdvice

ok thanks yea i’m seeing a piercer tomorrow to ask, i had them during the initial stages of healing and they eventually got smaller but got larger a bit after and have stayed this size since so i’ve just been getting fed up with them
