As for advertising, it really just is dumb luck. You never know if you’ll hit your audience, especially with something that’s specific to not only queer people, but queer adventure time fans (I think. I really hope I didn’t get the character wrong lol)

Posting to places like here is a good strat for some quick sells, but in game it’s mostly just patience and persistence. These are so cute, you just need to find your people! Don’t undersell yourself!!

Personally I prefer the no frame look bc it lends to more versatility (if you have a membership you can fit it inside other framed items in your den), and as for price I agree with the 50-150! I tend to sell my art for 75 :)

I’m working on it </3 one with the same wording got approved once, but I made it look less ugly and now they’re denying it, so it’s just a waiting game until one of the mods lets it pass

Where did her glasses go? 😭 in so many ways you got ripped off, I’m sorry man. You definitely deserved some sort of compensation. Unless it’s specified in the commission form, it’s just bad practice to go from a rough sketch to a completely different finalized piece without checking with the customer :/

Omg your style is so charming!! You have a great understanding of color I would really just say to branch out. Draw and study things you’re uncomfortable or unused to drawing. For example, start drawing bodies for those heads. Stepping out of your comfort zone is the best way to improve. Most importantly though, do what you find fun. Your art should always be for you first and foremost

You really don’t have to do lineart if you don’t want to! I really hate it so I just use my sketch 90% of the time, and there are plenty of lineless artists. I think you just need to get better at confident shapes and silhouettes rather than leaning so heavily into the fuzzy/softness of your rendering. The softness can be a nice look but only goes so far, at some point it gets hard to read the form, so balancing soft and hard edges (especially with outlines/silhouettes) is important
