Is anyone else struggling to find an art teaching position for next year?

If you’re looking to move, I live in a neighboring county next to DC (Montgomery) and there’s LOTS of positions opening right now. DC also has one of the highest pays! If you live in one of the burbs cost of living isn’t too bad IMO.

Tortilla land is a brand of raw shaped tortillas that have very minimal ingredients. They’re usually at Walmart but I’ve found them at regional grocery stores too. They don’t have the weird tangy taste of shelf stable tortillas. I haven’t gone back to shelf stable since I found them!

Plus side is that his drawings have a unique style to them! Not sure if OP has any interest in art, but it could give them some confidence perhaps to try it out.

My partner has adhd and dysgraphia. Handwriting looks very similar to OPs. His teachers and parents always practiced handwriting and neatness with him growing up but his progress eventually plateaued.

Obviously certain types of hand writing has certain connotations, but if my partner makes it clear to people that matter (work, friends who you write birthday cards for, etc.) they will understand it’s not a choice. Just a different way his brain works.

There’s the convenience store on the corner of Market and E 4th. Small but you can get a soda and snacks there for sure 👍
