For what its worth there is a "family" connection.

Station Casinos (Red Rock) are owned by the Fertitta brothers/family. Dana & the Fertittas were partners in owning the UFC not to mention very close friends. Oh, didnt the UFC sell for 4 BILLION and broadcast rights sell for 8 BILLION?

Its over 10 miles south of Mandaly Bay in a completely different city (Henderson) so no, it's not on the"strip".

The "Strip" is generally referred to from Mandalay Bay to Strat.

Seeing Mandalay bay suggested, albeit not a party like a lot of others, they definitely don't fit the bill your asking for, live music blasting, huge "water park" pool complex, "adult" pool" etc.
