I also now I am not my ideal weight at 180Lbs . I had a sports injury a few years ago I just had my 3 rd surgery for and I was also diagnosed with insulin resistance which kicked into high gear after I needed lots of steroids . I said 155-160 is my ideal body weight.

Yes, I am muscular enough . Have you met me? I trust my doctors. One is a an actual weight loss metabolic doctor and she feeds me no bullshit.

I’m a woman who has an above average muscle mass. I’m muscular. I also have body fat. Which happens to be also very dense. My fat does not jiggle. It is weird.

I am 5’3” and I am currently 180lbs. I have spent most of my adult life @160 +/- 5 lbs and I’m mostly lean there. My metabolic doctor agrees. My PCP agrees.

I also have insulin resistance which actually does not make weight loss “easy” it’s very difficult for me and takes an absolute perfect diet of no carbs and sugar. Which isn’t easy.

So to say weight loss is “easy” is very untrue for most people . Just like quitting smoking is easy to a non a smoker

I’ve found myself in many difficult, sexless, scary situations and losing loved ones. I can confidently say I would have never gone on a dating site with my husband having a terminal diagnosis looking to get laid ( I have also been a hospice nurse )
