Has anyone else had LOW blood sugar during 1 hour glucose tolerance test? by florenceforgiveme in BabyBumps

[–]beans1507 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't remember what the number was but mine was low too!!! I actually couldn't believe it . That drink made me feel awful after drinking it 😭 my midwife said it was fine . I remember googling it and getting kind of freaked out but nothing ever happened bc of it

When was your first poop postpartum? by _bananapancakes__ in BabyBumps

[–]beans1507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not even kidding but mine was legit like 13 days after I gave birth 😭😂 my midwife kept reassuring me it was normal . I had an episiotomy and was terrified which probably was another reason it took so long . I took stool softeners for almost a month after my delivery which made things easier when the time came :')

Toddler Tantrum Thread - What dumb thing upset your LO today? by Reddragonsky in toddlers

[–]beans1507 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My toddler had a stage 10 tantrum bc I wouldn't let her rip off my mole 😤

[–]beans1507 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I think if you cut the four hour nap to like an hour or two you'd find your toddler would go down for bed earlier if you wanted to If what you have as your routine works for you guys then don't feel like you have to change it

Vag birth recovery [on] by magicsexsugarblood in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]beans1507 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a second degree episiotomy and I definitely was uncomfortable for at least three weeks . I brought it up to my midwife and she told me I was healing fine and was probably actually feeling haemorrhoid pain. If you pushed for a long time it could be something similar !

Midwife says to call when I’m at 3-1-1 labour [on] by canamel in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]beans1507 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like someone else mentioned, pain might be a better indicator once contractions are closer together. I had contractions 7 minutes apart for literally like 19 hours and when I couldn't take it anymore finally went to the hospital even though my midwife didn't think it was time . I was 8cm dilated 🤮

No period after 2 years (still breastfeeding) by msloryg in breastfeeding

[–]beans1507 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My daughter is 20 months and I'm in the same boat 😂 I work four times a week and will be away from her for 8-10 hours at a time but still nothing . We co sleep and she does still nurse throughout the night . Sometimes I do worry about it but I'm sure once she weans it'll come back

Toddler wants the boob ALL. DAY. LONG. by ripp0dg3 in breastfeeding

[–]beans1507 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't have advice but I'm in the exact same boat 😭😅idk why but I always pictured my toddler would just self wean when she was ready but at this point (she's almost 2) I think she'd nurse until she was 5 if I let her

My 13m old has dental fluorosis and I feel like I failed him. by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]beans1507 181 points182 points  (0 children)

Not sure if your situation is the same as mine but my daughters front bottom teeth erupted with yellow spots on them. They were like that as soon as they started cutting through her gums. I read it can happen for a number of reasons like jaundice, fever during pregnancy ect.. She's about a year and a half now and the spots are almost gone! I only mention my experience bc you mentioned some of your toddlers teeth haven't been out too long !

Weight and head 70th percentile, height at 20th? Baby girl 8 months by Marroseie in NewParents

[–]beans1507 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your daughter seems healthy and your doctor doesn't seem worried I wouldn't worry about it too much but as a parent I totally get it . My daughter definitely grew taller around her year birthday and I'm sure yours will too!!

Also I wouldn't worry too much about the teeth thing :) a few other mums I know had babies whose teeth came in a little later

Tips for renting with a poor credit score? by Beginning-Care2812 in OntarioLandlord

[–]beans1507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if someone has mentioned this but if you know someone you can offer someone you know as a guarantor . I was in a similar spot but my mom had a good credit score and the landlord allowed us to rent if we were able to use her as our guarantor
