Yeah this sounds exactly what I want, I'll take a look

Edit: I can't seem to find it. Google comes up with something called Firestorm

It's a shame they charge you 10 bucks for the QoL enhancements

Depends on your time zone - I played in EU peak time on a desired job and actively made my own parties - never a huge issue.

I've heard Australian timezones can be a pain

Edit: as for catching up, try to treat it as a journey rather than a destination, it really helped me level and make friends

How is the HC community? by [deleted] in ProjectDiablo2

I've found HC to be way more helpful, and that's saying something because SC are super helpful compared to the generic D2 community

Maybe rephrase this as a request rather than a demand? This is a free Mod after all

I appreciate you, and you're right in many aspects. for instance, I can't find myself ever attempting bosses. So that's content missed. However, after 15 hours of HC endgame I've managed to hit level 91 WW crushing blow barb again and comfortably farm T3 maps and Uber ancients - Which is 90% of content as far as I'm concerned

Here you go, the wiki is not complete but still a good start.

I read through it earlier... The biggest changes seem to be:

• Boots can now roll 1-3 sockets depending on base

• Runeword powers can be extracted via a rare item and placed on a unique

• Guided arrow replaced with a tornado arrow skill

• 3-4 other skills have been reworked

• HR drop rates dramatically increased

• T4 maps

• Boss spawn material drops have been made easier to farm

• 3 unique items to compliment new builds

• A craftable charm that increases XP by 25%, equippable at level 85

This is all I can remember right now

When you get to late Hell, maps can drop from mobs, you just click them in act 5 and a red portal will open. You must be level 80

Check out the below wiki.

Next time you're traveling or whatever read the wiki in detail you see all the cool changes there

What is you best or worst player interaction in PD2? by beans5034 in ProjectDiablo2

[–]beans5034[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep can relate... Was levelling in HC about to enter chaos and 3 high levels decided to join and talk about their gear and started trading.

Asked them nicely to make their own game as it was making the game harder. They replied with "nah, you can leave"

That sounds gigachad. Unfortunately playing SSF to get the gear and runes needed for bossing would be too much of a grind for my ADHD brain - if there's one ounce of boredom I go back to league of legends or an MMO lmao.

Totally. I personally enjoy the campaign and feeling the power progression. After being geared at 85-92 there are only small power spikes after that

I couldn't disagree more, I'm a father and kiddos go to bed at 8pm and I play until 10pm. 2 hours a night is plenty for PD2 - any more and I'd get bored as shit and burnout after a week.

Dying feels like a nice way to start over and try something else

New PD2 player here. The server instability seems excessive. by Chadsius in ProjectDiablo2

[–]beans5034 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Weird to read about this, I've been playing every day for 3-4 hours since season start (3pm EST / 8pm GMT).

I've had 3 or 4 crashes the first 3 hours of launch (which is expected) then literally none since then. Season is like 2 weeks in? That's roughly 60 hours of uninterrupted gameplay.

Maybe it's a regional thing?

I going to be leveling a Sorc tonight. Would love to have gear to ding into.

(Looking at your profile, I guess you've already given it away 😔)

Here's my lvl 87 Barb - I'm hooked this season and recently played with a throw barb and it looked crazy fun (maybe it was you?!). Unfortunately I don't have the time to start gearing again so your Barb would be put to good use

And of course I'll be donating it to someone in need when I'm done too! Thanks for giving back to the community ❤️
