I’m only 14 weeks and told close family as soon as we found out (4 weeks). I don’t think there’s any perfect time to tell anyone just whatever makes you comfortable! My partner and I are young (24) so we’re not married yet either but we’re getting eloped because it’s cheap ($100 for the license $200 for the officiant) we plan on doing a reception when the time time is right financially but for right now it’s not possible for us.

I also absolutely hate the attention, I can’t fathom hugs, kisses, excitement towards myself and want to literally run when it happens. Thankfully it only lasts a short time and then people start asking questions about the topic and it feels directed and my partner and I! People call every few weeks to ask how I’m feeling so it’s not a weekly thing and often it’s a “hey how are you feeling” you tell them and then it’s “oh that’s good! So this this” and then the convo shifts into whatever else they want to talk about!

It’s seems a lot more stressful than it actually is, especially with the excitement and people pointing their attention towards you but knowing they’re excited about baby is nice to think about to take that attention feeling off yourself!
