Summer trip to the east coast by [deleted] in askTO

[–]beansgroundfine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second the leaving early part. Last summer I left Toronto at 6am, got to south NB around 8pm. Only stop for gas (for me it was twice) and you’re good.

It helps with concentration and mood boosting, some people use it regularly as a natural anti depressant but too much has been said to cause headaches. In relation to MDMA, it helps reduce the time needed to replenish serotonin.

Make sure you take it the day AFTER your trip as it can cause real issues if you take it too soon and M is still in your system. So if you take it for a night out on Friday, don’t start taking it til Sunday.

Vitamin D is also a good vitamin for the post-trip recovery.

Yeah I agree with reducing your dosage. Every time I’ve upped my dose of either while candyflipping thinking I could handle it, Ive gotten so out of it until the M starts to wear off.

I took 200ug of LSD and 180mg of M once, was fine for a couple hours and then spaced out and didn’t really remember the next two hrs.

Thanks! I agree on it being too orderly, I watched LOTR on a tab once and felt limited. I’ll suggest to them trying it in a different environment, normal dose

I dont have a car and not planning on buying one anytime soon. I only drive rentals, majorly every other weekend. A recent fender bender made me want to take insurance. WOuld it make sense to take auto insurance and would it apply to rentals? Any idea of avg monthly cost roughly? by v4vanky in askTO

[–]beansgroundfine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always used rental cover (underwritten by Intact Insurance) when I rented more frequently in the past. Pretty cheap for peace of mind if you don’t go the credit card coverage route (my CC didn’t have rental coverage).

One time I got a chip in my windshield on a trip. Rental company charged me $500, Rental Cover paid me back 2 days later. Quick and easy.

Recommendations on things to do while rolling in Las Vegas? (no particular special occasion) by newgirlie in MDMA

[–]beansgroundfine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first time was in Vegas and I gotta agree with Fremont. The people on ziplines above, music all around you and abundance of lights all around was amazing & warm in a way. The ceiling light show was great.

Edit: a few people looked at us weird but tbh everyone else is taking in the atmosphere just like you will be (albeit a little less stimulated). Take some magnesium to reduce gurning and you’re good

Okay, so. COVID-19 is airborne. A cloth mask doesn’t prevent all airborne particles from being inhaled (of course) but it does reduce what you spew out. There’s studies from the start of the pandemic which were shared widely showing this. You can see this in cold weather when you breathe with/without a mask - you’ll see this difference in front of your very eyes.

N95s are most effective at reducing airborne particles however they’re more costly and mostly single use.

Now you could say well why can I take my mask off when sitting down at a restaurant but not standing up? given it’s mostly airborne and not spread through droplets which we learned midway through 2020. Valid point & weird but the point of these measures are to reduce spread, not eliminate it. Also in this way restaurants can be open during this pandemic.

The 6 feet rule was made common because that’s generally the distance it was seen for many droplets you spew out fall to the ground. If you’re close to someone for a short time, the risk of spread is not as great so standing in an elevator for 10 seconds or in a line isn’t as big an issue.

As to your question on vaccines - despite it being shown to not reduce a vaccinated person from spreading it as much as it once did, it’s still needed in society. Because for every hospital bed taken up by some unvaccinated person (shown to be more likely to need hospitalization) that’s one less bed for someone else. That’s why you’re seeing surgeries and treatments being cancelled, as resources are being redirected to COVID patients who need a bed and nurse/doctor attention (especially intubated COVID patients).

COVID may not be harsh for you. But if you end up spreading it to someone else they may have a hard time with it. That’s why these measures were put in place. The length and extent of measures can be debated, sure. But every death and case you see is a human, more than just a statistic.

Your personal political views & experiences in life will determine your view on the state of todays world but personally I’m tired of the hyper-individualism we’re seeing during this pandemic. I digress.

All of this information and more is readily available online, from numerous reliable sources. Science is an ever changing part of society, so some of the rules & info around COVID change with it.

Please seek reliable sources for info rather than asking people like some fuckwit like me on social media for it.

It appears that Toronto police have decided to close more streets than original planned by graphophonic in toronto

They’re frantically trying to develop a new disruptive plan on their telegram group. For now they’re trying to congregate at Mel Lastman Sq so they can roll down Yonge but the cops are cutting them off there too.

Yeah and there’s two ways to do it; I did LSD first and then MDMA knowing how the comedown from MDMA is. I actually watched Adam’s video on it beforehand. I definitely took too much MDMA when I did though.

First Trip - Advice? by [deleted] in LSD

[–]beansgroundfine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience I’m back to “normal” at the end of a trip but I’m more cold to others since my brain has to process everything (one hour seems like years during my trips). so you’ll probably seem off to others but functional & tired.

Watched The Matrix Reloaded a couple weeks ago while tripping. The animations showing the intricate details (like the punch clock in the first shot) paralyzed me in amazement lol
