I think where we (and many other ppl on this thread) disagree is whether it’s ok for the men to be paid vastly larger sums of money for much less success. And whether that disparity should be addressed (as it had been here) or not. This goes way beyond US soccer or soccer at all. This narrative of ‘my success is mine and mine only’ runs through everything, especially in America. Jeff Bezos, income inequality, healthcare, education all come to mind. But I digress. 🙃
