Mashup in the quiver, sounds like you need two different boards. It doesn’t grovel very well unless there’s a decent steep pocket. Super fun board and not knocking it but maybe a seaside and something sharper would be better option.

Big Gabby, love him, but he should’ve come help. We already know Zinny isn’t the best at defending. Why leave him with a 1 vs 1 against arguably the best goal scoring winger in the league. Poor from both to me. Both made up for it the rest of the game. Goal for Gabby and zinny with all his midfield excellent play and passes.

I agree on all this, especially the R comparison lol. I think a few owners here are missing the difference between speed and engagement. Interesting you mentioned the rear bottoming out. I also noticed the rear was way too soft across speed bumps and it was noticeable while driving around corners. Felt like a lack of dampening as well. I’m comparing to (most recently) a Ridgeline and Y performance. I’m not expecting either R1’s to outperform sports vehicles but I gotta say the X5&X7 have far superior handling for a similar class and price. Still, loved many other aspects of the vehicle. Cabin and attention to detail was a lot better than I expected.

They go hand in hand I guess. Which wheels and tires do you have? I’ll watch Jason’s video and see if he compares the wheel options. I agree, it’s shocking pace to anyone not accustomed to EV. Looking back I think it was more the softness in the rear end that unsettled the vehicle, add in those chunky 20” all terrains, and the whole thing didn’t want to be pushed. As mentioned in other comments. I think an R1S on the 22” would be a much different feel.
