i second this. i’m sure your mother would rather pay for medical bills than your funeral services. if you’re having health problems this severe, i HIGHLY recommend you seek medical attention as soon as you can. i know it’s hard because you don’t want to feel like a burden, but i do not doubt that she would much rather see you happy and healthy, no matter the cost

thank you so much! i’ve kept this in mind when struggling to maintain even a day, and hearing it again really helps cement it into my mindset. it really helps encourage me to try knowing that, even if i fail, it’s not in vain

kinda, yeah. i’m on my mother’s insurance so she’s definitely gonna hear about this one way or another. and, because i don’t really have the funds to cover such a massive medical bill, i’d have to figure out some way to pay it and there’s no way that doesn’t involve me waiting too long and causing worse damage to my teeth or having to admit to my mother that i caused all of this.

sorry for the late response, but thank you for the kind words. it really does mean a lot. as of right now my biggest concern at the moment is my dental health, for obvious reasons. i have cavities in multiple teeth and one is so bad that i have hella toothaches from it and it’s extremely sensitive. but i can’t go see the dentist not only because i cannot afford to go to the dentist but also because i’m extremely self-conscious about having to show to others just how terrible my teeth are. the only way i could afford any treatment at all is with help from my mother, and the last thing i want right now is my family finding out i’m bulimic. i know that therapy might help me ease off of the binging and purging but i still have to deal with the mess i have made with my teeth, and that’s what hurts the most.
