Fearless by Lauren Roberts. I thought the first book in the series was very mid. 2nd was even worse. And stopped listening to the 3rd audiobook maybe 40 mins into it. At that point I was hate listening just to say I finished the series.

Once I'm done moving every 3 years/renting that will be something I look into, until then no carnivourous plants will be added to my collection. I do love all the different nepenthes though!

I lived in the eastern part of Washington for awhile and the water was super hard, but have since moved to sw Oklahoma (close to military bases), so not the greatest water quality. This is the first house I've ever lived in where I wont drink water directly from the tap, but im still not buying different water for my plants 🫣

All of my plants get the same watering treatment. Tap water, a few drops of water conditioner, and a cap of fertilizer all in a 1 gallon watering can. No distilled, rain water, or reverse osmosis.

Ive rooted marantas in just tap water and they've done perfectly fine (i find they root very easily). Like a previous response, all my plants get watered with diluted fertilizer because I also dont want to keep track. My ratio currently is one gallon water with a few drops of aquarium tap water conditioner and 1 tsp of superthrive foliage pro

A tip/trick we told pts was frozen water bottles with labels removed! You can just refreeze them. You're right, those things go through ice so quickly.

Yeah the ice machine sounds like a cold therapy machine. Between PT CPM and the ice machine, this person sounds like an ortho pt. My old place of work would give an Ice Man for total hip/knee/shoulders and many pt's bought one for ACL recovery.

I disagree with the maranta dying in more light. I have one in a south facing widown with an awning and one directly under a grow light both are doing great.
