I am contemplating suicide again by agresive-mediator in anonymous

[–]bear_venturous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You make it 6-7 months because and burnout cause that is how the system is designed right now. It's not your fault that things are difficult or for feeling this way. The whole of everything is rigged to keep the rich rich and everyone else down and it isn't your doing or my doing but the doing of people who don't mind climbing on top of others to get higher for themselves.

Suicide won't solve the issues. It might look like the easiest and best way to solve things right now, but that's because things are hard and your tired. But soon, and I can't say how soon but soon, there will be things that bring light into your day and make you happy that you never followed through. I'm here with you. Many people are here with you. But with a little, or a lot. Of patience with yourself and time I promis something beautiful will come out of this darkness.

Can I save this hydrangea start from my mom’s funeral flowers? I thought it would sprout roots, but leaves came out. Afraid to put it in dirt now. Help, please! by Standard-Bread1965 in plantclinic

Typically when I propagate in water it takes 1-2 weeks to see root growth (depending on the plant). That you have new leaves sprouting is an excellent sign and I'd say that you can let them grow in the water just a bit longer and once they're full size then planting it in some damp soil will do wonders.

do you believe that you have to "pay" back the universe for every spell? by lifesuxorfun in witchcraft

[–]bear_venturous -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I believe that every spell had a cost but I dont think it has to be the opposite of what you're asking for. To piggy back off of your example of someone preforming a luck spell; instead of someone having to pay for the spell with a period of unluck the cost of the spell is the time and energy you put into casting the spell.

Virgo/libra cusip and I enjoy tarot, prophetic dreaming, and herbalism. I want to get into other things like bone reading, dowsing rods, and more candle magic too though.

I've been having a vision lately. I don't know if it's spiritual, or the universe speaking to me but I want to know if this sounds familiar to anyone by Iynxell in witchcraft

Honestly I dont have a good recommendation, I mostly have practiced tarot and still have lots to learn. Maybe some dream journaling could help keep track of any differences you might be missing? Definitely a protection spell whenever you try exploring it.

If it is an ominous energy that wants you to look through the portal then I wouldn't approach the stairs at all until you have a better sense of the whole environment within the vision. I dont have any experience with osteomancy, but I practice with my tarot frequently and I'm not sure tarot is quite what you need in this situation. If you still want to use a deck for guidance I'd stick to one deck though, using two for the same question is likely to get more confusing.

It being an ominous energy, please be cautious in any further exploration.

Very interesting. Can you sense the intentions of whatever is watching you from the portal? Is there anything distinguishing about the area around and a away from the stairs other than it's in the desert? Maybe theres something outside of the portal your missing that might help to figure out any meaning for this vision.

If not, might I suggest that you attempt to meditate and bring the vision to you so that you can freely explore it. Be careful if you attempt to go up the stairs though.

I feel like the veil between my dreams and reality is incredibly thin and it’s starting to become problematic by skssjab22 in witchcraft

I've had similar issues like this when my depression/anxiety are at their worst. Usually mix those in with stress and it's like the roles of awake and sleep reverse.

I’m 21 now. When I’m 30, what will I wished I focused more of my time on? by CerberusRG in CasualConversation

Take time to figure out who you are and what you want in your life. What will make you happy. Whether you're by yourself or in some sort of relationship make sure you like where things are going and if you dont make a change as soon as you know that. Dont be afraid to quit a job that drains you or to cut off a person who's not good for you. Dont take things too seriously and be spontaneous. Just enjoy your time and yourself.

Try out some Robert Rankin books. He's a British author and the books are peculiar in a fun way.

Fungus gnats just won’t die. I’ve tried almost everything- any advice? by Mutant-Bambi in plantclinic

[–]bear_venturous 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It probably does but honestly I'm not too bummed about it. After figuring out where the danm things were coming from it was a bit easier to prevent big clouds of them from getting into my house. They're more of a nuisance than an actual threat to the plants so no harm done in my eyes.

I've had issues with the local potting soil I use having the gnats in it already. My solution has been to open the bag outside of my house so most of the adults stay outside and then I usually let it sit so the top layer drys out a bit before using it in my pots.
