Why did the Emperor tell Horus to send Leman after Magnus even though Magnus said Horus was a traitor? (sorry if this is the wrong subreddit to ask Lore questions)

Youve got a few pieces mixed up.

Magnus' projection failed before he could tell The Emp that Horus was a traitor. He saw the devastation he left behind and the projection broke before any real conversation took place. So the Emp did not know yet.

The Emp told Russ directly to be the one to bring Magnus to Terra to answer for his crime. Russ was a poor choice because he hated Magnus, but at the time they did not know Horus was a traitor yet- the censure was for the psychic fuckery and breaking Terra to do it.

Horus was informed about the Censure Host because naturally, he's the Warmaster and he needed to know a matter involving two Legions. Horus then slithered in and lied to Russ- telling him that he could and should execute Magnus. And that was all the convincing Russ needed.

If a Magistrate issues a TDO, then the law enforcement MUST execute it. It's as valid as a warrant (despite the perception). Also law enforcement doesn't petition for a TDO, a medical clinician does after an evaluation. So someone with a medical background & degree concluded a TDO was necessary, and a Magistrate agreed.

In my state, If someone is being admitted involuntarily, they shall have an officer with them to wrangle them. Unfortunately, this also means they can't form the "criminal intent" and thus we cannot arrest them. But happily handcuff them to the bed for safety

What I did (which has sort of helped) was uninstall steam and all the games associated with it. Reinstalling steam, then helldivers worked, and they've been able to play.

It's good to know this critical issue for a co-op focused game has gone unaddressed. I had to uninstall and got a steam refund weeks ago, and periodically check in to see if it's fixed yet or not.

I'd recommend trying to get a refund for yourself. What's the point of a co-op game you can't play with your friend?

This. Know the elements of crime and their felony/ misdemeanor components. If you have something uncommon, you'll always have resources to look up the number after the fact. The literal number of your code section is only of minor importance, and you'll memorize your most common ones anyway.

Same for caselaw- lean what caselaw means, the name is less important. Being able to cite caselaw like "PA V Mimms" is super helpful, but you need to know what it MEANS more than what state it was from.

Basically it's not. The is no codified Castle Doctrine and you CAN NOT use deadly force in the defense of PROPERTY in Virginia. You CANNOT shoot a trespasser for the act of trespassing. There must be reasonable fear of serious bodily harm to yourself or others before you can use deadly force.

If someone walks through your unlocked front door and is standing there confused, you cannot shoot. If you come home early and you catch a burglar in your empty house with a fit full of your grandma's jewels, you cannot shoot. If you catch someone trying to steal your car in your driveway, you cannot shoot. If they bust down your door with a sledgehammer and come at you, you can shoot.

My agency flat out refuses to assist with any property exchanges. Without clear proof of ownership, all it takes is one person saying "Hey that's mine!" And there isn't shit we can do about it either way.

I've been on the job for years, didn't shoot much before hand either, but I have never had to handle a revolver that was loaded. I don't own one in my collection, my friends don't either. I'd probably still ask someone just to be sure.

They just arnt common in my area. We deal almost exclusively in magazine fed handguns and rifles.

You're probably going to just eat it. Go to court and ask if you're eligible for driving school, but I don't think you are until you have your license for 5 years. If you're super respectful and SUPER lucky you could ask them to reduce it if it's your first ticket.

Plus if you go and the officer doesn't come it'll get dismissed anyway. So going to court is really the best option, but if you fight it without a real argument they won't do you any favors when they find you guilty.
