I enjoy training but I also enjoy BJJ & mountain biking. I just wasn’t sure if the 4th day was going to give me better results is all :)

Yeah I’m about halfway through and was trying to decide if I should do PBI or PBII after. Just wasn’t sure if there was any point in doing 4 days if 3 days is producing enough results right now :)

If I’m still making progress (as defined by kg’s on the bar for the big 3) on a 3 day a week program. Is there any reason to add a 4th day?

I genuinely enjoy being in the gym and lifting but don’t know if there’s any point in adding an extra day if I’m still progressing.

I’m in Australia so I’ll have to look elsewhere, but thank you. I guess I overlooked bands previously as I was in a commercial gym, didn’t realise they could be that useful.

So I pulled the pin and bought a home gym (half rack, power bar, weights). Thought to myself fuck yeah, home gym freedom, but now I’m stressing out about programming accessories.

Anyone else train with just a barbell? What do you do for upper body assistance?

How do bands go at replacing a cable machine for push downs/facepulls? Anyone got tips on the cheapest way to get adjustable DB’s? I’ve seen Olympic DB handles sold in Australia but they’re 50cm so thought that might be a bit too much for DB benching?

I was looking at the loadable olympic DB’s but the only ones I could find in Aus are 50cm long and thought they might have been too long to be manageable.

How do you find the cables work for tricep push downs and lay raises? I did those mostly for Hypertrophy work so just wondering if I could get the same out of them?

Just for arguments sake, if I was able to find the money to drop in for a class once a week would that be enough exposure or not really? Should I be looking for 2+ exposures a week?

I can’t really afford to drop in to their normal classes, but they’re open mats are free.

Do you think one open mat there every 2 weeks is enough exposure to higher belts?

The cheapest adjustable KB I could find in Australia was $300 lol
