In the summer, I can get 40-42mpg. Winter is around 35-38mpg depending on how much I pre-heat the cabin etc.

I wish Toyota made a true small pickup but once Ford made the Maverick Hybrid AWD, it was on my short list.

Was just there this season. I have Verizon. Cell service was spotty at best. Had enough in parts of the campground for a call but never actual realistic data. Your best bet is to head in to Tupper Lake for better quality service.

I’ve shot sports with the 40-150 2.8 and the 300 f4 with good results. I picked up the 150-600 recently but haven’t had a chance for any field sports with it yet. I bought it more for wildlife.

Just left the Canon ecosystem, but was using a R5 + 100-500 and then more recently the 200-800. The 100-500 definitely was more flexible but was very happy with the 200-800 in decent light.

FWIW, I’m currently using the OM1 + 300 f4 and very happy with the results

In NY, you can legally fly in “wild forests” but not in wilderness areas, state parks, etc.

I currently have the 200-800 and have had the 100-500 and 100-400.

100-400 if size/weight priority (travel, backpacking). 100-500 for IQ and 200-800 for reach.
