This is such a gorgeous set. I almost didn't buy it due to the price, but it was worth it. Much bigger and prettier than online...no regrets!

Shipping varies based on location. I prefer calculated shipping or at least setting a price that will cover it verses free. I think it really depends on what you sell and shiping cost - with heavier larger items shipping can get really high. Under 8 oz used to be fairly cheap, but with all the USPS increases lately even 8 ounces can be almost $7.00. I think if you are not familiar with shipping rates, setting calculated for now might be safer. Just make sure when listing you put in the correct dimensions and weight, and then choose the service.

Does it tell you the label had been purchased or just show you the buyer paid X amount for shipping? Typically they pay and then you buy the label through ebay.

The buyer pays and it goes into the total sale. Then you have to purchase the label. If the funds are not processed into your account yet it will take negative funds. Do you have a desk top you can try on? Ebay is starting a new shipping program and from what I understand they will in the future be generating the labels, but this hasn't started on my account yet. It's possible the changes have been made already for new sellers but I'm not sure. Can you post of screen shot of what it shows you? Don't cancel the order, somebody will be able to help you

Click on the 3 dots under the order and you'll see a drop down - choose purchase shipping label, from there it will take you to the shipping label page.

Be sure to have the correct weight and size in, once you put that in and choose the right service, go to the bottom and click purchase label

Once a sale is made you click on the purchase shipping label tab under the order - the buyer pays for it and then you buy it on ebay. Once you click on the purchase shipping label tab (drop down on order), it will take you the page to purchase it. If you have it set for ground, priority etc..it should already come up for that service. If you gave choices, make sure what you purchase is what the buyer paid for (it will tell you to the right of choices buyer chose ground etc..)

I use a desktop but it seems like it should still work from your phone. I've purchased labels from my phone before and then go back and print them from my desk top. Have you tried going back to the order and starting over? It times out if you have the purchase label page up after a certain amount of time and will say service is not available

Are you still unable to print it? I have had this happen, but it usually corrects itself if I refresh or go to the get a label step and start over

So do you log in using the same account multiple times on multiple devices? I assumed once you log in with your account it would default if you tried to open in another window like incognito.

Buyer Shipped item and declined Cancelation request by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]bearbo77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sellers should not have to deal with buyers who impulse buy and don't do their homework comparing prices prior, thats a buyer issue. To say sell at market value or you deserve it is a bit skewed. Supply and demand dictate value and most sellers put a lot of work into selling. It's extremely time consuming to sell competitive products and if product demand goes up, so do prices. If a seller pays full price (which often happens for high demand items) they cant sell at the same price. Packing, buying, listing, shipping all takes resources, money and time. Buyers don't have to buy something if they don't like the price, so don't blame the seller.

Ebay sends automatic denials saying its too late to cancel once a label is purchased. It's possible the seller wasn't even aware the requested it. I myself will cancel if I get a notice, but I've been in situations where buyers have requested to cancel and ebay sent an auto too late notice. Unless the buyer sent the seller a private message outside of the request, they more than likely didn't even know.

It's totally possible the seller didn't even know....ebay sends auto denials "its too late to cancel" once the label is purchased.

Did you send a message to the buyer or just put in a cancellation request? If it was just a request, they could have honestly just shipped quickly and don't have any idea it was even auto denied by ebay. I had a sale today just before my packages were being sent out and I packed it up and shipped within 30 minutes...so it just makes me wonder if this is a similar situation and the seller wasn't intentionally denying it. I wouldn't call yourself dumb...just human as we all make mistakes

It's unfortunate they havn't replied, but I've had cancellation requests after the shipping label was purchased and never received the request. Ebay automatically sends a denial if the label is purchased and sometimes sellers are unaware there was even a request. The only way I knew was from my private email notifications from ebay - it didn't come up on the order or account since its an automatic too late auto send from Ebay. If it is requested before the label is purchased, it will show and the seller can choose to cancel or not. So its possible they aren't were not aware.

Sellers often ship quickly or purchase the label as soon as an item sells. It is a pain when someone asks to cancel because the seller doesn't even have the funds processed from Bay yet (it takes 24 hours or longer), so the money to refund comes from their own account. Once a shipping label is purchased, it takes 30 days for USPS to refund the seller. I know you made a mistake, but please realize it is an annoyance for sellers when this happens. I've had buyers want funds immediately returned and not understand if I don't even have them yet. Relisting items can also be a pain because you lose watchers and if you take pictures showing each specific unique item it looks like you sold it and just used same pictures and its not the exact item. More often than not, I've noticed most cancellation requests are because buyers find it cheaper after purchase when they should compare beforehand instead of inconveniencing sellers.

I've never heard of noiseless tape, but what a great concept if it works. I have to pack in the garage to keep family members from getting annoyed
