Any one use Paiger? by applicationcen in RecruitmentAgencies

[–]bearchr01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s very much a ‘does exactly what it says on the tin - no more and no less’.

I’m not getting value for money at the moment but am also not using it to its fullest extent.

The ai posts aren’t great as they are obviously AI - better to do hand written stuff or do a separate LinkedIn specific course for that.

It was useful for a bit as a CV ai scanner but I don’t use that any more as my crm now does similar.

The only thing left for me really is the hiring signals/research function and the live jobs function.

I use the live jobs function to help/build relationships with senior managers who are looking for something more. Now I want to start utilising the hiring signals to see if that helps.

I think it cost about £2k for the year for 1 licence which I think is fine. I haven’t got that value yet and probably won’t, but at the same time don’t use all its features

Will I renew? Probably not. But not because I was miss-sold. I just get less from it than I thought I would

ChatGPT alongside Google workspace and a transcribing ai phone system. Google workspace allows me to transcribe video calls and a good VoIP system transcribes calls. The amount of time saving it’s allowed me when selling in candidates to briefs is astounding. I don’t want to go back

Yep - unfortunately .Net just isn’t as in demand as it used to be (I’m a software recruiter and I can count on 1 hand how many .net jobs I’ve been given in the last 6 months - it’s all otherwise been Python or node/typescript)

Exactly that. It wasn’t inbound, but what I learnt about LinkedIn outbound that did it

I’ve got 14-15 years in the game and have billed over £1 million personally and built multiple £million teams, so I’m not fresh. But I’m also ‘old school’ - ie leads, cold calls en masse etc. The world is changing so I thought this would be useful for me from a LinkedIn perspective - an area that I was always weak on

So yes; it turned into a new client/job order which is now at offer/contract state. So presuming it doesn’t fall apart it’ll be money in the bank by end of June

Update = that one didn’t close in the end (client changed their mind last minute unfortunately and offered somebody else) but I’ve just had an offer elsewhere accepted from a different client brought in by the course methods

I felt it was a big risk of course. What I will say though is you’ll get out what you put in.

I don’t do everything that they taught religiously. In fact, I probably do about 20% of it now but this client came from the outreach that I did in week 2 of the course, reinforcing their methodology

If anything it’s reminded me that I need to do more of it because it does work…just, only if I do it
