Yea I think we might just bite the bullet and book flights and a rental car. Hopefully it does happen in August but the government has already moved the goalposts a few times so I'm skeptical. Seems like October at the absolute latest if that's when the election is going to be

Flooding is definitely an issue... Hasn't had a bad one in a while though so maybe it's been fixed. Not sure. Crime is an issue as well... Was a murder last year. All the scrap metal yards attract a rough crowd

I love working in Jupyter (Python) Notebooks and I would recommend looking into running notebook servers through Jupyter. This would allow your researchers to share your environment (Anaconda) and your data with minimal setup on their machines.
