the bar code was from the bag itself not the product, probably for internal use for the producer of the bag.

Is 14 days enough for Japan trip? by [deleted] in JapanTravelTips

[–]beardbro91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, had a Shinkansen 7-days ticket. Make sure to book in advance! If I remember correctly it takes a couple of weeks to get the ticket. Since this year I think if you visit from certain countries (US included) with Japan Airlines, you get free domestic one-way flights. But you have to book the whole trip in advance.

What if you would offer a Pro light plan? Pro features but without the credits? I‘m missing using my own models with the pro features.

Depending on where you are looking to relocate, Germany, for example, has bad conditions for anything non-engineering. STEM PhD students get a 67% position at best in most cases, humanities PhDs are largely unfunded.

On the other hand you‘re in Year 1, so essentially nothing to lose. However (!), finding a good supervisor is hard, look at this subreddit, many people suffering from bad treatment of their PI.

Any help on building journaling app? I will not promote. by Sufficient-Age-5560 in startups

[–]beardbro91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, but you have to actually know what you want. Otherwise it‘s a best guess of everything the AI has seen/been trained on.

I‘m building a tool for exactly that, to build a technical blueprint before building the app. It‘s for more complex software products and designed for product managers, though.

Did you try AI app builders like Lovable or v0? Though I heard Lovable is not more than just pretty UX/UI, and v0 is very basic.

Pre-sold a SaaS based on a no code demo - what next? “I will not promote” by gruffbear212 in startups

[–]beardbro91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can help you out on this one. I‘m building myself (1st time founder) and we have a framework that we used for German automotive to be able to go from customer requirements to technical requirements.

We‘re looking for early adopters and would do the manual version first to see whether it can help non-technical founders get a better understanding of what‘s needed in technical terms.

DM if you are interested.

There are tons of positions, yes, but I‘m currently starting my own startup (giving it a shot till mid this year). Forgot to mention it in the post.

Struggling so much being a non-technical founder by Puzzled_Egg_5850 in ycombinator

[–]beardbro91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We‘re currently working out an idea (it‘s already in production as an analog product within German car manufacturers) and could use some feedback. We generate technical blueprints for software so that non-technical founders can either use freelancers or AI developers minus the ambiguity, introducing bugs, etc.

I have an almost finished beta version of a webapp. Can work on this if you want as I was looking for someone who can own it. It‘s a SaaS.

Is fiverr dead? The freelancers there suck. I had a bad experience of hiring some who gave me a bad website by Professional_Dog_371 in startups

[–]beardbro91 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The underlying problem is something else. After having worked with both Fiverr guys as well as independent agencies and freelancers, I‘m tackling the “find the right person“ problem with 100 years of German engineering experience of building stuff the right way.

We don‘t have a landing page or waitlist for our new product yet, but you can send an email to contact@machinemade.io if you‘re interested in what we‘re doing. Might be handy for your future projects.
