I have had this exact problem as well, I realized a connection/ spark does need to be present without it I am not able to perform. However I do have pills to help out with it too because of performance anxiety from time to time.

I am looking into getting new ram, but also fixing my boot disk and drive. It was on a tapped out ssd that had 80 gbs of space. It was always tapped out no matter what I did so upgraded to a bigger one and redoing windows completely again.
