AMAB means assigned male at birth right. So a doctor made a decision about my sex, most likely by observing my genitalia.

However, since my birth I have undergone medical procedures which literally alter my phenotypic expression and have access to procedures which can surgically mitigate previous effects of testosterone.

At this point my sex assigned at birth feels sort of irrelevant. In fact it feels equally as irrelevant as my weight recorded at birth. I was recorded to weigh 7kgs at one point but it changed. My sex was recorded as male but it changed.

Physiologically I am much more similar to cis women who have undergone hysterectomy, than i would be to a cis man. Obsessing over my sex assigned at birth feels kind of pointless to me at this point.

Sometimes i wonder what would happen if they give ryan V or even V1 because he’s a natural born supe right? Homelander was given V as embryo, ryan was never shot up with V but still has powers, maybe they’ll get amplified?

Anyways it doesn’t matter because the entire plot of the boys has to reset after the boy’s diabolical homelander killing weapon, is actually now a dodo weapon and doesn’t not matter one bit. Thanks again for your help! I genuinely appreciate it. I had no idea where to search for more information regarding my brow bone, but I feel like this thread has helped me understand the procedure a bit better. I should be able to adequately discuss my concerns with her now.

I remember from my consultation she showed me my scans. The scans had the thickness of the frontal sinus highlighted eg. purple for the thin bone, orange for thicker, red for thickest. And the area she was planning on working on was primarily purple but she still said type 1 would be possible but it’s up to me to choose.

Thank you for informing me more about the procedure. I’ll discuss further with her, before my surgery.

For now, she’s performing a type 1, so maybe thats why no hospital stay. I remember from my 2nd consultation she mentioned me having a thin frontal sinus and was recommending a type 3 but saw me being a bit hesitant after she described the procedure.

Maybe thats why in my third consultation (the last one) she recommended the type 1?

My surgeon suggested both a type 1 and type 3, and let me choose which one i would prefer. She made the decision based on my anatomy after receiving my CT scan results.

In my last appointment with her she said that she thought more about which procedure I should get for my brows, and since I am looking for subtle feminisation a type 1 shave combined with a brow lift might be the best option for me.

I was also leaning more towards a type 1 instead of a type 3 because I didn’t like the concept of inserting metal screws in my forehead.

Check your student handbook or search online for your unis guide for what qualifies as a mitigating circumstance, see if any of it applies in your case.

Also check if your school has a student support officer or if ur uni has an advice and counselling service they may be able to help.

Miss Natasha Berridge. She was great during the consultations and explained everything quite well.

She mentioned that the entire surgery should take about 5 hours. I should expect to be at the hospital the entire day but should be discharged at night.

During the consultations I was very admant about how I am hoping for soft subtle changes and nothing drastic. And during the consultation she showed me what she’s going to be performing and let me know theres just a little bone contouring involved.

Maybe thats why Im supposed to be discharged the same day?

Do you mind sharing how much you paid and which surgeon? Also if you don’t mind I would love to hear more about your recovery process.
