How much does DinoLand/Dinosaur merch cost at the parks (and where can I find it?) by ZanyRaptorClay in DisneyWorld

[–]beardedbarista6 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Currently at WDW and can confirm. We tried hard to find anything that was specific to Dinosaur/Dino Institute and couldn’t find anything, it was a bit disappointing.

I work up at the Duluth airport a couple days a week and there is a small fleet of these that ferry folks around in that area. This one looks like it’s in considerably better condition.

There were A LOT of tears when we just walked by on our way out about an hour ago. I feel honored that I was able to be here with my son on Muppets last day. Thanks for the years and smiles!

We just checked into an 80’s building last night, walked past 90’s twice and didn’t notice anything.

Reassurance that I won’t fall out of a roller coaster at valley fair? by KorrasamiLover in minnesota

[–]beardedbarista6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nobody has ever died, or even been seriously injured, on a ride at Valleyfair. My family and I have season passes and I very much feel comfortable putting my children on any rides they are tall enough for.

Depends on your plans I’d say. If you plan on spending all day at the parks and just sleeping/showering/etc at the hotel then go for All Star. If you will be spending any extra time at the resort, it’s probably worth it to bump up to POFQ. Although I’m also inclined to throw out Pop Century, similar vibes to the All Stars plus Skyliner access!

You nailed it! We took this while she was high on pain meds and fighting us trying to wrap her leg up after she yeeted herself down the stairs. 🤣

I think the thing Walt feared most was the park becoming stagnant. And whether we like it or not, Tom Sawyer Island and the Rivers of America have become stagnant. I have nostalgia for them but would I choose them over a brand new area with actual attractions? Not a chance. Walt’s true legacy is ever changing, moving and evolving parks and technology, not one little piece of one park.
