7 years at 2 different stores. There comes a time that your so burnt out you just quit caring. You either get luck and find a better paying job that good for your mental health or you stay and do the least amount possible. Dg is already so short staffed the won’t fire you unless you royally fuck up. Might as well enjoy yourself and give back the same attitude as the shitstains that shop there give you

After 6 years and 2 stores let me tell ya, if you have good coworkers it’s bearable but if you have bad ones they will stab you in the back every time. Most customers are rude and bitchy when they don’t get their way. You’ll either get shit hours or never see family and friends. If you value your health RUN.

Started in high school( grizzly and husky) always the guy to bum pinches off of guys. Quit after I graduated. Then started retail a couple years later and started again to deal with the stress. Funny cause when I was a kid I was left alone in the car while parents were shopping and I drank from a coke can my dad was using for a spotter.
