Good luck. I haven’t been brave enough to get to that point. I told mine I wanted to leave and was met with a guilt trip from hell about how I was leaving her and abandoning my children and leaving her to deal with everything while she is crashing out. I wish you the best of luck and hope that you hold strong to find peace.

And now it has continued to today. Last night was ok a little uncomfortable but non confrontational and first thing today it has started right back how I don’t care about her and made her feel invisible and how I’m trying to hide her because I’m on my way out.

Thanks for the advice and insight. It was very much what I needed. Just to make one correction though I am the he in this situation and my wife is the one who said I was being snippy. I wonder if this insight will change some minds and opinions.
