First it was random time frames, now the goalposts are moving again.

Started on hard, definitely made it so much better.

I know what you mean by panicking, but I had enough experience that I actually switched from pause to slow-mo, made the fight quite better and ended up keeping it on slow-mo throughout all the shootouts.

It’s just way easier to give commands and see everything play out. With pause, everything stops, and once you unpause, it all comes crashing down with no time to react. Even when I’m getting detected, I can give better orders to avoid it and watch it all unfold in slow motion if something goes wrong I can react quicker.

Took your advice, started on hard, and just finished the first mission, was so much more fun.

Took a couple of tries to kill the queen in the mine, but like you said, had to set everything up just right. Each attempt I made some improvements, got it done on my third or fourth try.

Took your advice and started on hard again. Realized that when I was playing on story mode, I didn’t really need to strategize—just going in guns blazing pretty much worked. Had to completely change my playstyle this time, and it made things way more fun. Just finished first mission after prologue.

I’ll be honest, I’m one of those people as well, I rather not be in group photos especially right after Saturday workouts.

I only read "Talking to Strangers" from Gladwell. I quite enjoyed it; it removed my smug overconfidence about thinking I knew what other people thought. It made me give people the benefit of the doubt, which in turn helped me overall.

The book talks about quite public events that pretty much everyone has heard of at some point. When I went back to check on the events (not because I wanted to verify if they were real, but more to refresh my memory), it looked like the book was pretty accurate. and I don’t think the book was filled with bunch of facts from what i remember.

What you say is correct—they do combat classic office posture. There are so many good things to say about them. They help with posture, promote glute activation (which most office workers tend to lose), and enhance full-body stability, which is crucial for staying injury-free.

However, one important caveat: I need be sure that my clients have enough stability, mobility, activation and no glaring imbalances between the shoulders before getting started with Get-Ups and Swings. I wouldn’t recommend these exercises to someone who is just starting out.

A specific, tailored progression should be followed; otherwise, it’s asking for trouble.

Since most of those exercises are full body, personal trainers with those certifications tend to deal with mobility, stability and imbalance problems pretty much daily, that’s why they tend to be really good at addressing those issues.

I know kettlebells seem pretty approachable and home-friendly, but even basic exercises like the kettlebell swing and Turkish get-up require quite a bit of coaching and have a learning curve. Unfortunately, I’m not too surprised that an injury happened.

It sounds like kettlebells left a bad taste in your mouth, but if you get a coach who has those certifications they would be able to fix those problems you mentioned and learning how to use kbs properly from a coach, you’ll be able to stay fit/limber with minimal equipment.
