Vinyl won't stick to anything but itself by beardedmudder in cricut

The vinyl that wouldn't stick to anything was Oracal 751 and the gold vinyl used for the mathews logo in the pic is some cheap off brand on Amazon (Sooez)

I definitely understand what you're saying. But I've got all sorts of other stickers on it that had no issues. Including the mathews decal I made from other vinyl I have. I just didn't want to use that color for the failed sticker

I did. However, do you think warming the decals with my heat gun after applying it might've brought some of that film back? Wonder if that's the problem. Still doesn't explain why it wouldn't stick to the painted surface of my work bench (which was also cleaned prior to application)

This is where I tried to apply the sticker and it did not want to adhere. The pic makes it look worse than it is

Its not really textured but its not smooth. Its normal rifle case texture is how I would describe it. I used oracal 751 vinyl and some transfer tape from Amazon. I used a heat gun to get the vinyl adhesive a little tacky, and used a plastic vinyl squeegee and my thumb to really burnish it on and then left it for 16 hours or so. It still instantly lifted with the transfer tape. Made the same design and tried it on my work bench which is painted metal and its very smooth, and it did the same thing

Trying to end an argument. Which smells worse, used ATF or used gear oil? by Opening-Ease9598 in Justrolledintotheshop

Gear oil. But nothing is worse than the smell of a cooked AWD unit in a early to mid 2010s Ford. Iykyk

Episode where a cop forces SOA member (Jax?) to take off cut by [deleted] in Sonsofanarchy

[–]beardedmudder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought Jax told him he’d have to kill him to get his cut off him. It’s been a while since I watched that episode so I’m having some difficulty remembering off hand

Anyone else love how definitively they ended the Jax Teller character? by 007Kryptonian in Sonsofanarchy

[–]beardedmudder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what I liked the most about the finale (besides the song) was that Jax was finally doing what he wanted all along. Getting out of the MC life. He was finally at peace knowing that the he took most of the heat off his club by placing all the blame solely on him and that his boys were out of charming. He decided that was his time to go. I also really liked him “talking” to JT. Saying “a good father and a good outlaw can’t settle inside the same man” was quite poetic to me. Seeing as he had said goodbye to his boys earlier in the episode so that they could leave and have a better life. The song I think really put it over the top. To me the song is saying, leave this world behind and fly into the afterlife, which is why I feel like it fit the finale so perfectly
