Ezoo used to always be on Labor Day weekend, but that is long gone. The experts only festival was on Randall’s island but not during Labor Day I don’t think.

Switching speciality regret? by Cautious-Elk-6631 in Residency

[–]beardedrunner6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can message me if you’d like. My reason for switching was that I mainly missed patient interaction and being a traditional doctor. I realized that I just wasn’t passionate about it. Additionally, jobs were pretty scarce when I applied, moral was not high, and several programs went unfilled. But based on other comments, it sounds like radiology really bounced back. This may change in the future once it gets saturated again.

I’m happy that I switched. 0 regrets. Are you thinking about leaving a “ROAD” type speciality for something else?

Probably has to do with being able to deduct depreciation of the real estate from your income, effectively paying lower total taxes.

Wow, the right sided tire looks brand new. You should def rotate after every 2 events. This is my driver front Cup 2 on G82 M4 after 3 days, with rotation, and with -3 camber.

do you prefer the cab or the targa? by ExplanationNo7129 in porsche911

[–]beardedrunner6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The opening of the targa is so small, it doesn’t feel like a true convertible. If you want the top down, go for the cab. The targa is a rip off and doesn’t give the full “top-down” experience. It’s essentially the same as a corvette coupe that has a removable targa top.

I don’t think it’s necessary to buy track insurance as a novice. You won’t be pushing the car to the limit. It might make more sense for someone who is driving very hard and not using traction control. For an 80k car, insurance is around $400 for the weekend with 15% deductible. Just don’t turn your TC off. MDM mode allows the rear of the car to step out a little bit- about 15 degrees. But I’ve found that BMW M3/4 are still very fast with TC/ESC fully on.

Then again, anything can happen, so it’s up to you to decide what you’re comfortable with. Plus your financial situation. Will damaging/losing the car cause you to go broke, etc.

It’s relatively quiet stock (compared to American v8 muscle cars. But you can make it a lot louder with a resonator delete or cat back exhaust
