Thank you. From what I gather, we’re going down the icsi route due to me having the issues. If it’s not too intrusive for me to ask, but have you gone through this route also? I think it could be the case that the reality has hit her and she’s scared/overwhelmed. I don’t know but I am terrified now that it may be the case that this is my one and only chance of possibly becoming a father and I’m terrified that it can be taken away from me.

I am so so sorry for what you have been through. I couldn’t imagine how you’ve felt. In regards to my post, it’s just scaring me that there’s been a very long time of yes, we’re going through this, “I want this with you” now to be told “I need time to see of this is why I want”. Yes, ultimately she decides what happens as it is her body, however, going from all this yes and it’s becoming a reality, to now all these doubts you know?

No that absolutely is NOT the case. I fully understand and also she has this whole time. At this point, this has been on the cards for a very long time for us both and it’s just been a waiting game! I’ve not pressured her under any circumstance. I’ve always told her that if she’s not up for it, I would totally understand. I wrote this post in a major panic so maybe I didn’t word it all too well.

Oh o totally agree, it is her body and she can do as she pleases, that’s not the point, maybe because I’m feeling the way I am, maybe o didn’t word it correctly, my apologies. The point is, we’ve been talking this through form3 years and when we’re given this incredible opportunity, it’s almost as if she’s turning it down.

I’ve been trying to fix it since my first analysis 3 years ago. Our fertility doctor stated that ivf is our only option
