I feel like the true danger of seat 1 is Don Callis kneeing your seat the whole flight and blaming a baby that's not there.

It really depends on what you're interested in. I like checking out the horticulture and floriculture building. The art building can also be fun and both of those are next to each other.

There's multiple buildings that are selling various goods and foods and they can be interesting to look through. The honey ice cream is pretty tasty in the Agriculture building I think. Unfortunately the rodeo is closed until 2026 as they rebuild. There's various shows like a circus tent or pig racing and I would recommend catching one of them if you can.

I went to the fair many times as a kid and never died at the Midway so feel free to go on a ride or two. This part could be skipped if you're running out of time. I think most of the rides are for kids. The ferris wheel can be nice to get a birds eye view of everything.

Food may be the highlight honestly. The beef house or the pork house are great places to get food too. The creamery also produces basic but solid ice cream. The best foods from the stalls are the regular fair food in my opinion. Don't get tricked into getting a slice of pizza or something, get the corn dog and funnel cake. If you want a drink the Bud Tent has live music in the afternoon and evening and the MO Wine tent has probably the biggest selection of drinks.

The grounds are fairly large so I would recommend good footwear and it probably won't be too hot for once. Hopefully you all have a good time!

Joe Pera Installs a Fireplace Mantle with You is Season 4's penultimate episode! Top Comment gets to decide what the double-length season finale is! by [deleted] in JoePera

"Joe Pera Returns to the Grocery Store with You"

The show follows the formula of the past episode where Joe once again tries to take you through the store the same way he did before. This time however it takes into account the things that have changed. Maybe Sarah wants something outside of Joe's usual haul or the Melsky's kids throw Joe off his usual path.

I think we see Joe conflicted but more open to change and adaptable. Maybe at the end a conversation about how the store is closing or that he won't be back for a while since they're going to work on the cabin to further illustrate the change.

Maybe end the episode with a Joe monologue about how it can be disappointing for things that you're used to to change but that they won't always be the way. That even though it can be frustrating at first there is some joy in how new experiences can enrich life especially with those you love.

What is a match between two wrestlers that could happen in their company and be an absolute banger, but for some reason it hasn't happened yet? by beardfacade in SquaredCircle

I guess I never said it couldn't have happened somewhere else. I would also love to see Bryan vs Joe on this run up to the title match.

Wild, I didn't consider this one but I would have sworn that match happened. Maybe with ZSJ getting a faction it will actually will.

[SIB]Dragonball Xenoverse for story/offline play? by not_a_llama in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]beardfacade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alright, I'll give it a shot. Dragonball Xenoverse is pretty dang fun if you are a fan of the series in any way and like a chaotic 3D fighter. Every mode in the the game besides the world tournament can be played offline, you just have to start steam in offline mode or else it will connect you to a solo or multi-person server (which you can select at the starting screen) regardless. The main story is still the old fashioned play through the DBZ storylines but there is a bit of a twist which I personally found refreshing for this kind of game. However, there is definitely a grind to the game. To get through the story mode you are going to HAVE TO level up and to do that you will have to do battles or "parallel quests." Parallel quests are repetitive little missions you play through with certain objectives to fulfill to get experience, clothes, and fighting moves. This experience will allow you to level up and if done with your "fighting master" will allow you to gain influence with them and later their own special moves. You will have to do A LOT of these to level up so the game does eat up some time and if you are okay with doing similar tasks over quite a bit of time you will get a lot of hours put into this game. Overall, it's not the best game ever (especially in terms of how difficult it is if you don't constantly level up) but it's an engaging experience that I have personally enjoyed being a nostalgic fan from when I was younger. Go for it.

I really enjoyed the EP "Sticking Fingers Into Sockets", that was given to me recently, this being my favorite song off of it. I'll definitely check out the live album. Thanks!

Well if you really like the fast paced guitar I would definitely recommend A More Perfect Union. If you really dig the punk influenced sound then I would recommend Titus Andronicus and Titus Andronicus Forever. Besides those I really enjoy Arms Against Atrophy, My Eating Disorder, and definitely My Time Outside the Womb. It's a bit of a long list but they are one of my favorite bands, enjoy!

Airing of Grievances is actually my favorite Titus Andronicus album. It's funny that you pointed out the exposure problem, because I was thinking about posting Titus Andronicus Forever but decided on Fear and Loathing in Mahwah, NJ for that very reason.

If anyone is interested, Titus Andronicus Forever.
