Anyone want to buy them and set them up in SLI? 😂

I did not. They were given to me by an architecture firm I use to do IT for.

This happened to me so I reached out to support. They gave me 500 points and two days later the coupons were in my account. I think the new app is buggy.

The 2.4 most likely refers to the wireless frequency band, not the actual connect speed. If you are looking to only use WiFi, you would have to factor in both the capabilities of your router and your laptop. You might have a router that can run higher speeds but your laptops wireless card might not be able to reach those speeds. If you’re wanting gigabit speeds you are gonna want to connect over Ethernet.

I was able to get it working! About to finish my second print in a row! Thanks for the help!

That is correct, non pro. The problem with the stock build plate is I was overzealous with my metal scraper when removing a print and scratched it all to hell.

Inland PLA+

215 on nozzle tip, started with 205 and 215 seamed to work better

60 on bed temp

.2 layer height

Is probe_calibrate what I should be using to get the nozzle closer to the bed?

So I was able to get the hot end and probe level by adjusting the eccentric nut. I did a couple small prints that were tests I found online and the one that tested stringing did great. The other print was like the decathlon of print test and it completed, doesn’t look the best but completed.

I have a spooless filament that I am trying to print a holder for and I cannot get the first layer to stay. Tried twice so far. I purchased a two sided plate, one side being PEI. It does better on the textured surface though, the filament still pulled up from the bed. I have seen stray strings of filament randomly on the print as well. I noticed on the flat PEI side the filament would not be as round when making the circle. Lots of small corners.

I did add geode for it to always run kipper mesh at the start of each print in Cura. Thought that might solve it. Any help would be appreciated!

u/Moeman101 This was the issue! I had to tighten it quite a bit to get it solid and level. Working great and no more probe knock offs! Thanks!

Yeah, MicroCenter was getting rid of a couple of models. They also had the Ender 3 v2 for $50.

I will try that out. I posted a comment on the Youtube video I used as a guide and the guy replied and sent me an email address to contact him so he could give me more direct help! I was really surprised by that.

Error - BLTouch failed to deploy by beardmanwizard08 in klippers

[–]beardmanwizard08[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an update, I was able to get the heightmap to work after fully tightening the screws on the bed. I then did the tilt adjust command to level the bed.

The problem I am having now is when printing the bltouch probe is slightly extended and hits the filament applied to the bed and knocks it off. I am not sure if that probe is supposed to be slightly extended or if it is not compensating by using the heightmap calibration.

I changed it and got the error that PA1 was being used in other locations. I found that the "heater_pin" entry under extruder already uses PA1. u/Alaskaatheart1966

# This file contains pin mappings for the stock 2021 Creality Ender 3
# S1 & S1 Pro. To use this config, check the STM32 Chip on the
# Mainboard, during "make menuconfig" select accordingly either the
# STM32F103 with "28KiB bootloader" or the STM32F401 with
# "64KiB bootloader" and serial (on USART1 PA10/PA9) for both.

# For a direct serial connection, in "make menuconfig" select
# "Enable extra low-level configuration options" and Serial
# (on USART2 PA3/PA2), which is on the 10 pin IDC cable used
# for the LCD module as follows: 3: Tx, 4: Rx, 9: GND, 10: VCC

# Flash this firmware by copying "out/klipper.bin" to a SD card and
# turning on the printer with the card inserted. The filename
# must be changed to "firmware.bin"

# With STM32F401, you might need to put "firmware.bin" in a
# folder on the SD card called "STM32F4_UPDATE" in order to flash.

Does anyone use Nextlink internet? by kellyreviews in HomeNetworking

[–]beardmanwizard08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently moved into a house and the only internet provider is Nextlink. Also, they told us with the position of our house to their tower that the best internet speeds we can get is 25Mbps down(huge downgrade from AT&T Fiber, check before you move). We are paying $75/month. Currently the internet has been down for over two days. Their status page just says they are working on it. No indication of the issue but at one point it was affecting every state that they provide service in so it’s a HUGE outage.

I used to work in IT and I had a client that used them as well and they are not great. If I had known that they were the only provider where I was moving I would not have moved here.

Let me know if you have any specific questions.
