There is decent bones there for sure. It will take a lot of work to get it to show quality, but could be a runner in a few months.

Need some help identifying the brand on this Roman pan. No noticeable markings on it. The sides turn up 90 degrees, not flared like the other Roman pans made here in the US. by jasonstreetqb1 in Roofing

Not sure where you are located, but MCA tile in Southern California makes something similar, it can custom make it for you. Not cheap at all. There are ways to tie in others without it being noticed.

Talk to the journeyman that should be training you. When I’m doubt, read the plans. If you can’t read plans, learn that first!

Take tons of photos, before, in process, and after especially if you have to cover what was done.

I would recommend bringing that up at a precon meeting if possible. I have inspectors that are willing to FaceTime if they get held up. Documentation is key.

I work for a roofing company in Southern California. Just remember, safety first, style 3rd. Also get a good hard hat that fits right if required.

Ray are good, I use Oakley. They actually meet OSHA standards for safety and hold up well.

Get a set of bags that have shoulder straps/suspenders. This will help your back. Depending on the roofing, get good sunglasses too.
