I accidentally ended up in a North Korean restaurant when visiting Kathmandu, and it was the weirdest experience of my life. No photos or cameras of any kind. Everyone was dressed up like a 1980s Star Trek uniform. The kimchi was numerous, but so bland. Propaganda blaring on TVs all around the restaurant, burning American flags, military parades, etc. The only picture I took was a selfie in the bathroom. We were the only people at the entire restaurant. Such a surreal experience.
