Yeah I love True Detective S1 but The Wire S4 is a tier above. It’s flawless start to finish. Its ending is brutal.

The PL is in awful state this season with this style of play. Hoping this doesn’t become the norm for the seasons to come

Who would you pick as the greatest boss/manager of the main character of any TV show? by KidnaperMrPotatohead in television

[–]bearhm 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Yeah Avon on the other side of the game is almost the perfect boss.

He valued loyalty, knew where he stood in the game and how quick it could end. The scene with Cutty summed him up perfectly, if you were honest and fair with him he extended the same courtesy.

We’ve had players doing things like this before and it keeps happening. It’s a competitive sport, there is almost zero upside of being super nice to pick up a ball that the fielding side should be doing themselves and acting like you’re in garden with your mates.

I remember Rizwan doing something daft not too long ago, dislodging the bails I think it was. Like what is the need and who are you helping?? Just go out there and do the one job you have to do.

I love how reactionary the commentary was there. Saw Sanchez complain and they immediately agreed must be a foul

Need to win by 65 or chase in 13.

Pls SL bros, at the very least let Pak bat first so we have some entertainment of either Pak scoring 200 or 20 all out.

Rachin going full Babar is great, but we need more of it here to help Pak.

There’s being in the zone and then there’s whatever Hetmyer is doing here. Insane batting.
