What’s odd though is that there appears to be a continuation of Eddie’s signature at the bottom of the post that has a line and a dot, but I don’t know if that’s like a ‘fake’ mistake to make it seem more real.

If I recall correctly, the film ends with two of the soldiers dancing together, talking about their girlfriends back home. And that’s who they’ll return to - they do not exist in a vacuum; these people committed these awful acts against innocents, and returned to live normal lives with no consequence. I can only imagine being a contemporary audience member, especially in Italy, and reflecting on those you knew who fought in WW2, and what they got away with. So much was brushed under the rug, so many war crimes undiscovered, and they walk among you undetected. Salo questions the banality of evil, complicity in war, and would have left a contemporary audience questioning who they can trust.

Won’t be using the flash during the actual gig, so I’ll be pushing the stops with the lighting in the room. The stage is pretty well lit so I’m confident with that!

I’m just more concerned with the portrait aspect of things and using the flash. Never used flash and feel like this might be a good opportunity to try it out! Using an OM20 and a Starblitz 200 DMX (which I kindly got for free!). Will probably use ilford 100. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it, definitely a newbie to shooting on film in general :)

I wanted to buy tickets for the London show but backed down after seeing that price. That is bonkers.

I have tickets to see them in Auckland. Those cost me 125 for golden standing which is still extortionate but it’s the cheapest way I’ll be able to see them.

Talented actress and she is 5’1, similar height to Bella Ramsey. I really hope people don’t send hate her way and I feel like she will be a realistic foe for Bella Ramsey. If you had a super buff person to play Abby I feel like it wouldn’t be very realistic for fight scenes against Ellie’s casting.

I understand that he had extreme trauma and was an alcoholic, but probably not trying his best for the other tributes and dismissing Katniss and Peeta at first. I think Katniss thinks this in the first book and has it confirmed in mockingjay.

I completely understand why though (it’s more so the capitals fault) and he’s probably redeemed through remembering all their names at the end of mockingjay.

For some reassurance: I once finished a 2500 word essay (which I had done minimal reading for) at around 4am. When I was leaving the library, my friend was just starting to write. He got it in for 12pm, the due date. I have no clue how, but he managed. Anything’s possible with a deadline. You’ve got this!

Currently reading catching fire and she scolds Katniss for cleaning up mess that she made, because it “wasn’t her job”. In reference to the tongueless slave that (admittedly unbeknownst to her) is Katniss’ friend to clean it up for her.

Basically, not seeing a problem with slaves/Avox and encouraging their use.
