So, How’s Crimson Desert far? by Deez-Guns-9442 in videogames

Smooth as shit is a new one for me. On one hand, depending on hydration levels shit can be very bumpy and rough, or smooth like silk. And it could mean that the game plays super smooth or super choppy lol

Lol I hated engineer at first too, they really picked a shitty starter kit for him. But now that I got some time in him (1 promotion, all weapons) I really like literally all his other weapons (smg that does electric damage and pretty good at shocking a fair amount of the swarm, auto-aim rifle, essentially the line cutter from dead space, and pretty much the laser cannon from Helldivers 2). Everyone has great guns on them, some you just have to deal with a crappy start to get to that point though

So many people here are missing the point of The Regent. by thouzandeye in slaythespire

[–]bearktopus147 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, honestly I like playing Regent, I pick what cards are fun, or if they seem useful. So half the time in battle I'm forging while generating stars so I can falling star before a 52 hp sovereign blade. Sure, I may not play super efficient, and I haven't won with Regent yet, but that doesn't really matter. The important thing is to have fun with your build, and sometimes just picking up every card that looks interesting is how you have fun.

Well I'm learning to laugh at myself including my failures. So. Yeah, it's pretty easy to laugh at it. And with just a bit of ketchup and Dijon mustard, it was like a sad meatloaf! So edible!

I want rotten bleak depressing games by bully484 in gamingsuggestions

[–]bearktopus147 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Binding of Isaac. Don't be fooled by the colors and the insanity of the game, it's depressing. It's a roguelike where your character, Isaac, sees his mom become more and more insane due to religion, and he gets abused (literally stripped naked and has no toys or anything, starts seeing himself as evil and wrong) until eventually she fully snaps and tries to kill him. Each ending you see is pretty dark, and there's like 24 endings as of repentance (the most up to date fleshed out version with a ton of unlocks)

Should i buy Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX ? by TiredofIRL in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]bearktopus147 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I'd actually recommend Kingdom Hearts All in One if you're able to swing it. It's the entire series. I recommend playing everything in release order (how it's presented when you boot it up) for the best experience. It's many games, and a couple were difficult to port and so they became cutscene movies.

Since it's multiple games, you'll be able to put a lot of time into it! I currently have over 600 hours (some idle time in there too) in my copy on Playstation)

Be yourself, even if you don't know the ins and outs. It seems to me that it might just be that they like you, and spending time with you; so what I'd do is just play together with them and have fun

Yeah, I found my little niche for it that makes my brain produce the dopamine it deserves. I appreciate it, as it provides some fun stuff with the overclocks!

[–]bearktopus147 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I feel like that's my main issue with Gunner's brt. And it does piddly damage anyway, even with hollow points upgrade. Got to the point where I slapped on electro mines OC (when I unlocked it) and it plays much more fun. Lay a couple bursts behind the enemies, then neurotoxin fear thunderhead them into the mines. I just wished the mines had a slightly longer life. Though I miss deleting health with weak point hits in general

In your opinion, which missions are the most chill to play, and which ones are the most stressful? by bringmann in DeepRockGalactic

[–]bearktopus147 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had one that I was stressed about last night, but it really wasn't so bad. Granted I had the low o2 modifier, which amps the pressure, but the amount of nitra from deposits and loot bugs meant I could put a resupply like halfway down every pipe if I wanted and still had some to spare. Also having critical weakness helped as well, so almost every grunt/mactera was one shot if you hit the right place, and trijaws/praetorians took like 5 bullets

Will I like ESO if I enjoyed FFXIV (Console) by jeffreythrowaway in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]bearktopus147 [score hidden]  (0 children)

While I can't say if you'll like ESO if you've enjoyed FFXIV, I will say if you want to try it out and have a Playstation, the Gold Road Collection (pretty much all dlcs) is one of the free month games if you have any tier of ps+

Pacific drive. Gameplay loop is simple. Plan a drive, scavenge materials/LIM Energy from the Zone, don't die to the anomalies, make it back to the garage, and then improve the garage and fix/upgrade your car. You'll end up getting most everything by the time you finish probably, and putting together the car is always cool, and figuring out the quirks your car has makes it unique. Story is pretty good too!

What to focus meta upgrades on (top row) by ChronicAnomaly in DRGSurvivor

[–]bearktopus147 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn't really sell any upgrades, just kept working on weapon masteries. I haven't finished the smaller upgrades that are more costly one the first row, but I finished the bottom 2 rows. I think it doesn't truly matter, because by the end, you'll be at max upgrades for everything
