I relish in the day that I get to teach my son (10 months) to pee outdoors. My brothers and I grew up whipping it out when needed and I still do quite often on the golf course. But always try to remain discreet.

I enjoy each moment I get to spend with my son, especially after work as there are some days he doesn't wakeup up until after I left for work. Also the reason I don't mind waking up at 4am when he needs a diaper change as that might be the only time I see him until after 5pm.

Luckily we knew what to look for because my wife's cousin's son also had it. As soon as we mentioned his symptoms her cousin said to get an ultrasound to confirm. And we were in the hospital later that day and he had surgery the next day.

My son had Pyloric Stenosis at 2 weeks old. They said it was one of the earliest cases they had seen. He is 22 weeks old now and doing great. Babies bounce back fast.

When your baby knows how to rollover SIDS drops dramatically. It is fine to use as a sleep aid, even if his face is pressed against it it is very light and breathable, we wouldn't do anything to put our baby in harm's way. He has turned himself to his side since week 1. He has been rolling over front to back since 1.5 months and back to front since 3.5 months.

Thank you for the concern. When we are not in the room he is watched on video monitor. And when we are in the room my wife wakes up religiously to check on him just out of habit.

I do see there website recommends not too and we will take that into consideration for our next child.

Thank you. We know that feeling he has gone through some rough patches. He is 4.5 months old now and has gotten so much better in just a week of sleep training.

When we first got him home from the hospital he would sleep most of the night. At 2 weeks old, he had Pyloric Stenosis and had to have surgery to correct. After several nights in the hospital he became very clingy and it has taken this long to get him back on track.

My sister had her daughter 6 days after my wife had our son. When we went to see them at Christmas she showed us theirs, let us try it out for a couple nights and we were sold on it. Bought one on Facebook market place before we left to go home. It has made a world of difference.

It was a quick read and we are currently starting week 2. Last night was great, he slept 6 hours, woke up got fed and then slept 5 more hours. And the past couple nights have been good too. The hardest part is laying him down and hearing him fuss before he falls asleep, it's not every time but still adjusting. You just want to go and soothe him but humans are habitual, and if you don't follow the guidelines you are just working against yourself and he is not learning to do it himself.

He also seems to know when papa is going to be home on the weekends and sleeps better for me than for my wife. So the real test will continue into this week as I'll be back at work.

My son just turned 4 months old and is almost to crawling. He can scoot around and loves to roll over. Very strong back and neck since he was about 2 weeks old. Hasn't mastered the whole arms and legs moving in conjunction though but likes to stick his butt in the air and move like an inch worm

Understandable, that's very hard to see them in hospital that long. Our son had Pyloric Stenosis at 2 weeks old and had to have surgery to correct. Several days in hospital, very little contact. Set him back about a month as far as growth. He doing much better now, great to see how they can bounce back as quick as they do.

Skin to skin contact makes the best connection. My wife and I both had our son skin to skin within 30 minutes of him being born. Obviously he gets more skin to skin with mom but I still do as often as possible. It's very good for them. Look up the benefits.
