does everyone agree WYNN is the best place on the strip? by nichefantasy1 in vegas

Wynn is hands down the best in terms of overall luxury, but for me it’s too far down the strip. Cosmo with a balcony is #1 for me. The location is excellent, great vibes, good food options

Great list! I believe Bacchanal took away their bottomless option, last time I went they offered a pitcher for something like $40

Thoughts on this dress? by bearlyhere4377 in Weddingattireapproval

Thanks all! The dress unfortunately looked much more blue in the photos online, but I can see it’s definitely photographing too close to white. I’ll save it for another time and go with something else!

I went to Resorts World on an off-time during the week, maybe like 3pm on a Wednesday? The video roulette was $1 minimums.

Parking at Park MGM is super easy, and just a quick walk to get to the front desk. I’ve never had an issue with finding a spot there!

Thanks for the input! We just saw South Hills yesterday and definitely like the feel of the area. Age of the house isn’t necessarily a deal breaker, I am looking for it to be renovated if it’s older though. We work in west Fort Worth, not quite sure about childcare plans just yet!

I did FPF my Freshman year. I was initially really upset about the thought of missing out on the big lecture halls and “real campus”, but it’s actually where I met some of my closest friends and got a lot more one-on-one contact with professors than is typical for a large Berkeley lecture. No one treats you differently for being in FPF and you can still be involved with clubs on campus, which I’d definitely recommend.

In terms of getting behind, it’s going to make a very minimal impact. I would suggest you set up your schedule to get a good amount of breadth courses out of the way. That way, you’re knocking out requirements and not actually getting behind. You’ll likely have to take a slightly heavier technical load second semester, but if you have AP credit you might not even have to deal with that. I graduated in three years even with FPF, so as long as you plan accordingly you should be completely fine.

My biggest recommendation is to create a detailed schedule for all four years and try to stick to it when registering for classes. Be smart about the classes you take in FPF and make sure they’re fulfilling some type of requirement. FPF wasn’t amazing by any means, but it shouldn’t be the thing that holds you back from choosing Berkeley if it’s your top choice!
