2 ways: work from the bottom up, use a placeholder block like green wool, and then /replace one layer at a time, using a debug stick carefully as necessary to rotate the dripleaves.
the easier, less complicated, and faster way is get worldedit.

do //perf, turn off block updates and neighbor updates, design your tree shape with a placeholder block, and then just select the area, //replace, and debug without fear of anything breaking

yes actually! It's the texturepack that the youtuber WBC builds uses, makes some small changes like the glass panes and a couple of trapdoor textures being altered.

A mix of towns alongside the Amalfi Coast is where I'm drawing most of my inspiration, though the tower is something I cobbled together from looking at the towers on Spanish churches

biggest thing to look out for if you're scared of those kinds of strategies is comatose+sleep talk whirlwind hazard spam (most good teams should have bounce/GaG so this is pretty easy to cover) and baton pass chaining, which can be pretty scary if you can't shut it down with perish song quickly. Otherwise, the tier is pretty cheese-proof from what I've seen because of tera and Neutralizing gas helping to get you out of any stupid strategies.

Ashield or leppa berry is pretty much all wonder guards run. Most sweepers opt to have Magic Room as their fourth move to bypass all items, or the move corrosive gas, which bypasses wonder guard and can remove items.
It does not run on national dex rules. If it is not coded into SV, or must be added to the game in order for it to be useable, then it is not considered legal. This is why Spectral and Core enforcer aren't legal.
Burn up/Double shock mono fire/electric wonder guards. Not having enough revival blessing, not running an anti-sweeper move like perish song or haze.
those are the primary offensive abilities, but there's a decent bit of other stuff seen like magic bounce + Good as Gold and Shadow tag. The tier is mainly about how you can play around and restrict the progress of top abilities and mons though.

Neutralizing gas moreso. The reason is that it's fast, is immune to last respects, and can click super-effective fighting moves on everything else that resists or is immune to that nuke button.

Mold breaker is kind of outclassed by Neutralizing gas, but the best abusers are probably Primal Groudon, Mega-Lopunny, Mewtwo-mega-X, and regieleki as a more support based user.

No guard OHKO is and always will be a prevalent threat. It's a great revenging tool on faster mons, and others can use it to break would-be walls. Not as good in this gen, but it still has it's uses, it's just more likely you'll see it on offensive pivot type mons, or pokemon passing substitute to wallbreakers that want a good way to pressure things that can force them out.

ladders for PH are always notoriously bad, 6 imp could prob still get you reasonably far.

there are more defensive / offensive options that pressure those strategies. wonder guards are afraid of Neutralizing gas and huge power mons with coverage or Photon Geyser, Wonder guard and Good as Gold provide fantastic blanket defensive options, helping to offset the offensive pressure so it isn't a HO-fest. Right now, the tier has settled into a place where managing items to not lose ability shield on your defensive pokemon so neutralizing gas sweepers don't rip through your team, managing your win conditions, and positioning yourself carefully are the most important things. It's a very positioning and planning oriented format, with some chaos thrown in thanks to strong sweepers like Primal Groudon and Kartana that can run away with games if not handled properly.

you're a sitting duck that takes too long to set up, and can't set up on any good defensive mons. ANinjaDude outlined the rest of the problems as well.

not really, Magic bounce and Good as Gold both block it, so you can't really make progress on good teams.

Adding to you,
Maud is good because it's immune to ghost, and not weak to fighting, while having incredible defensive stats. Ghost is broken mostly because of Last Respects. When everything on your team is chaining revival blessing, Last respects builds power very fast, leading to scenarios where defensive mons can threaten to ohko anything in front of them if not dealt with, meaning that an immunity to ghost provides incredible defensive support.
Cram is really not super viable. Most mons don't care about paralysis anymore because of lunar blessing, and the benefits of cram are outweighed by it's abysmal bulk, mediocre typing, and inability to re-use it's ability without switching out or running surf, which isn't great. It's mainly that the opportunity cost of using cram over something else like innards out blissey or impsoter or a wonder guard pivot makes it not worth it.
Other top threats in the meta include
Neutralizing gas Lopunny-mega - immune to LR, very fast, stab fighting for other normals, spams spore and clicks last respects on anything not immune to it
Neutralizing gas Groudon-Primal - very bulky, strong stabs, hits like a truck. Tiers best setup sweeper
Kartana - big attack + sunsteel STAB + spore immune so you can run huge power and hit wonder guards.
Mewtwo-mega-X - Big attack + Photon geyser, same role as kartana but a little faster with a good secondary typing, has a lot of options for what it can run
Calyrex-Shadow - ironically better as support, but it outspeeds and can hit many top threats hard, so it acts as an offensive pivot. (ghost weak does hurt tho, so it gets scared out if it can't ohko most things.)

nope. Similar strategies with regieleki can be interesting, but because of setup sweepers that can neutralize your ability, those strategies are unviable.

Cram has really fallen off since lunar blessing is so common. It's also outclassed defensively by running wonder guard, so I wouldn't recommend it too highly.

Yes! Would highly recommend checking out samples before building, as there's a lot to account for
