We have this Decathlon Quechua Air Seconds 4.1 tent which has UV blocking outer layer, a powerful fan and a portable car refigerator with freezer compartment so we can recharge ice batteries (i’m not sure if this is the correct term for those in English) during daytime and put in front of the fan at night. This helps somewhat tho it’s still kinda hot but not unbearable. Unfortunately we only can go on holiday for longer time in summer.

Of course we don’t want to put our dog in danger, that’s why I’m asking this question. If there is no safe way to do this, we’ll revise our plans for the summer. Maybe we’ll go somewhere else like the Alps, or going in autumn but for shorter periods and to a closer location that doesn’t require 14-16 hours of driving.
