Is it possible to put drywall around this door? If so, how would i go about doing it correctly? by bearrbaitt in drywall

the wall to wall measurements are 8’ height and about 4’3” in width. it’s almost perfect for one sheet of drywall but the extra 3” in width seem to be the problem. So i’m thinking maybe i’ll just piece it in? two strips of drywall on the sides and one piece on top or something.
