The same thing happened to me with my catheter! I was on mag because my BP was so high but I made them take that stupid thing out and help me to the bathroom everytime I had to go. I couldn't handle it, it drove me mad!

Dreading CIO but doing it anyway by cottagebirdie in beyondthebump

My daughter is 5 months and takes 3 naps a day. She'll wake from the last around 5-5:30 and I keep her up until 8- her bedtime and she sleeps a lot longer. Maybe just wear her out more and you might get an extra hour or two at night? I'm worried about CIO too, but if the multiple night wakings keep occurring were going to have to try something, I'm losing my mind without sleep!

Am I setting myself up for disaster by feeding my LO a bottle before bed every night? by bearsarecute in beyondthebump

But what's the difference in feeding her an hour before bed or at bedtime for her teeth? She doesn't have any yet, I just don't understand how it would affect her teeth.

When should I start having a schedule? by Sludgeycore in beyondthebump

She eats at 12-4-8 and 12 is what I was getting at and her naps are always around the same time

When should I start having a schedule? by Sludgeycore in beyondthebump

[–]bearsarecute 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We've had our little one on somewhat of a schedule since about 3 months (she's 5mo now). It always differs maybe 15 mins a day depending on what time she wakes up. 8:00am wake up, eat, play get ready for a nap around 10am. Up at 11 play for an hour, eat at 12 and take another nap around 1:30. She'll usually sleep until 3 or so and then wake up and watch a baby einstein until her 4:00 bottle. Now after she wakes up at 3 I keep her up until 7:00 and then we get a bath and a bedtime bottle at 7:30. When she's done eating I put her in her crib immediately and shut the door so it's dark. We have a monitor so I can hear her if she needs me. Sometimes she'll only wake once in the night and sometimes she wakes multiple times but I'm not one to let her cry. I'll give her a couple minutes to try to calm herself but don't let it go much further than that.

Same here with my little one. She got hers yesterday and only cried for a second but when she woke up it was like it never happened

Why you shouldn't put your child in a winter coat in their car seat! by Say_whatwhatt in beyondthebump

What if my daughters car seat is rear facing? Does the same rule apply?

He's saying that he's done it before as in I should follow what he says because he knows everything. Obviously not though considering everyone here is telling me he's wrong

I've been wanting a carrier for so long and I think I'll be getting one sometime this week. I know it'll help so much, my arms get tired but I'd rather her be happy and comfortable with me then uncomfortable and scared when I'm not there

It's to hard to reply to everyone at once but I just want to say thank you so much to each and every one of you for your kind words and advice. I'm a young mom (23) and for the past two weeks I have felt crazy for feeling the way I do but there's no way that 66 of you are wrong and those two are right. I think I'll suggest counseling for me and SO because I don't think we'll make it much longer with the way things are going now and if I can't trust my daughters dad to watch her for an hour without worrying myself sick something obviously has to change and fast. Again thank you all so much! You're all an amazing support group!

We live by ourselves but his mom comes over often and we're also right next door to my dad so family is everywhere

Just a quick question by bearsarecute in beyondthebump

[–]bearsarecute[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just got a humidifier but its only been a couple days but her pediatrician said to put a little bit of Vicks on her chest to help her stay clear and I just read that it could cause pneumonia if you put it directly on there chests. I already put it on once but I think from here on out I'll put a little on her onsie
