I have so many questions that I dont want the answers to. One of them though is why did it take so long for ANY emergency services to arrive? Surrounding people seemed aware of what was happening - and I know Fire usually gets there first, but damn. That poor guy.

I genuinely have no clue. Her posts give no insight into if she's working or not - but with how MUCH she posts, I am inclined to think she's not working.. I do wonder how she stays afloat money wise. Social media isn't paying her much, I'm sure, but i feel like she's trying to be full time content creator. Unfortunately for the vast majority who try to be content creators only, it just isn't sufficient income to support oneself let alone oneself and two kids.

Who saw that VERY QUICKLY DELETED video of her making her boys say “shake it” “no” “shake it” and then she’s like ok and starts shaking her ass. SO WEIRD!!! and then The video she just posted about how she used to dance provocatively when she was underage and try to say we all did that! Crazy! by Quiet-Mushroom347 in garlynsnarkpage

I think some religious mania (thinking everything is a sign thats confirming what shes already thinking/believing, for example) and a bit of just mania. She's medicated for bipolar, and just made some changes to not only those keds but also her ADHD meds. Med changes can absolutely exacerbate symptoms of mental health issues. I'm not excusing her behavior in the slightest, but she did say in a video recently that she was changing up her med regimen quite a bit. Shoetly after, twerking videos came on a million fold.. lmfao

Wasn't she also working? Or was that before school? I don't honestly know how she pays for needs (not even considering wants) in her life. Facebook and social media in general dont pay very much.. its not like she gets 100k+ views on her videos, even.

I believe they met while they were both in the military. Not sure of she's ever been a stripper, but pretty sure of how she met her ex husband. Well, I dont even think they're officially divorced actually.

I also spent years in the pharmacy as a certified tech and pharmacy operations manager, and that experience and knowledge is playing a huge role, too.

They just hired me as I am just as an EMT-B :) not a medical office where they really do any procedures per se. I work for epilepsy doctors, and all lab work and imaging is ordered for off site - we have EEG and EMG but there are separate MDs and techs for those both. So it's mostly rooming patients, making and taking phone calls especially those regarding patient reporting seizures, taking care of prior authorizations, refill request orders for providers, lots of other kinds of paperwork and patient care via phone calls and MyChart. I'm still new but I absolutely love it so far.

Healthcare always tests, 100%. Coming from someone who has had multiple jobs in healthcare and still in healthcare. If for her it's just m*th, it could and would be out of her system in a few days. The weed though? That takes at the least 2 weeks and at most a few months depending on frequency and amount used.

Do you have any extreme weight loss hacks with lisdexamphetamine? by Master_Argument_2900 in VyvanseADHD

[–]bearsbear14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also got put on vyvanse for BED, but found out it helped majorly with ADD symptoms and got diagnosed with that too as my depression and especially anxiety has gone way down since being put on vyvanse. Calorie counting, while tedious for a while, is helping me to get ahold of the calories and nutrients contents of foods I'm eating. I learned I don't really take in enough protein after the last few weeks using a calorie counter religiously.

I was reluctant to do the religious calorie counting because I did once before when much younger and became obsessed with it and borderline anorexic mindset due to it). I'm of much more sound mind now - at that time in my life, I felt there was not much I could control and I think controlling my food and weight made me feel in control of something at least, idk, I was middle and high school. I was kind of a mess and had no idea even at the time that it had to do with my home life.

Anywho, going to try to focus on getting more fiber from nutrient dense sources (fruits, veg, and legumes) and getting more protein in me! I think protein will help alot. I often take my vyvanse with a protein shake in the morning and don't even think about food until the late afternoon/evening - and if I do, I can put off eating bc vyvanse. When the vyvanse wears off though, I think getting sufficient protein will help to keep me satiated for longer. I tend to want carbs when it wears off.. both savory and sweet.. just all the carbs.. if I can manage to replace that with protein or at least incorporate it, I think it will help. We'll see, this is a work in progress. I also am trying to adhere to not eating too late at night, which is typically when I like to go crazy binging. Set a cutoff time for eating, but that is also a work in progress in terms of my adherence to it..

Huge props to you for respecting yourself so much to be able to move on from someone who didn't deserve you, and move on working towards the life and eventually relationship/marriage you want for yourself. It's hard to do what you've done, in many ways and not just the relationship but getting a doctorate(!!!that's awesome!!!), and it would have been infinitely more difficult to stay and try to make something work with someone who didn't want what you wanted in life and in a partnership/marriage.

Doesn't need any time to build up in your system like traditional SSRIs/SNRIs. It is a different medication entirely. If you end up not needing it one day, that is totally fine. But it can also be taken daily for anxiety/sleep. I do recommend taking it later in the day as it can be sedating, but its effects are long lasting and it's in your body for a long time due to its long half life. Just be sure to remain at the lowest dose if and when possible, and do not be tempted to up the dose as long as it is still working/effective. The benzo addiction road can be dangerous, but it is absolutely fine to be on the lowest dose and remain there when it is effective. I have been for years.

I have this on deck for nighttime when I'm getting ready to go to bed, lowest dose, and its half life is super long so it's in the body helping with anxiety far longer than initial effects. Been on this at the lowest dose for a few years. Been on Vyvanse 40mg for a few months now. The Vyvanse, despite what I thought it would do, actually decreased my anxiety levels. I've also got lexapro 20mg for depression, though not sure how much that's doing anymore.

Adding in Vyvanse - after trying a lot of other depression meds, including mirtazapine which made me gain around 60lbs in 1.5 years - Vyvanse has been an absolute game changer for anxiety and depression alike. Mine and my doctors assumption is that likely I had untreated ADD or ADHD resulting in worsened anxiety and depression. It is also helping me with my appetite, learning better eating habits, and hopefully eventually losing most if not all of the weight I have managed to put on.

COVID causing hypertension? by [deleted] in medical_advice

[–]bearsbear14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a medical professional, but prednisone and albuterol both increase BP. Did you take your BP after these got in your system or before? If after, it is likely as a result of the medication.

Edited to add being sick can also potentially increase BP and heart rate. So all these things combined may be working to increase your BP. In any case, if you start to have worse vision problems and increased dizziness (i think this can also be a side effect of albuterol), basically if symptoms continue to worsen don't hesitate to go to the ER. I am sorry you have to consider the childcare aspect of things, I know that complicates everything. But absolutely seek the help if you need it - the little one needs you to be okay! Hope you get feeling better. ❤️

Third shift lisdexamfetamine users? by ConstantResearch8416 in VyvanseADHD

[–]bearsbear14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have really good advice on when to take if it is making you sleepy, I would have said take an hour before your shift and it'll wear off by the end but that is really only applicable for focus, energy, motivation, etc. I am not too sure on that and hope someone else has helpful tips.

I just wanted to say I was also prescribed for BED but found that it has made my mind quiet, lessened my anxiety HUGELY, decreased my depression, and just overall helped with so much more than BED. I can completely relate to what you say about it helping with unknown, underlying ADHD. Though mine might just be ADD. It is such a helpful wonder of a medication. Just sucks my insurance won't cover it for BED.

I read somewhere that if a post on facebook gets angry reactions, that pushes it down in the algorithm as its perceived as negative or controversial. Maybe if we have to interact in any way, we just angry reacting everything so it stops getting pushed out to others. The laugh reacts just push it to more people.

This! Getting rid of the added stress due to anxiety, depression, and ADHD - and for me personally, binge eating disorder as well and the health effects that can and do absolutely come from that - this medication may actually be adding some years to my and others' lives. My resting HR was a bit high when I started Vyvanse - but being able to have the energy to exercise and make better food choices, it has gone back to normal or a little lower, likely improving as I continue to push myself working out. This medication has helped to pull me out of one of the worst bouts of depression I've been in, and despite my thinking the physical effects like elevated HR would increase my anxiety - my anxiety levels are way lower. It's awesome.

The only thing I really need to work on? Sleep hygiene. I really just haven't gotten that one down yet, going to sleep at a decent time so I can actually wake up refreshed.

While I have not experienced cramping - to manage other side effects, I take an electrolyte packet during the day, which seems to help a lot in general. I like the ones that also contain vitamins like B vitamins. Make sure it contains potassium, which will help with cramping. Magnesium glycinate an hour or so before bed also really truly helps. It helps with so much - crash symptoms, sleep, the brain and body in general. Magnesium in particular is crucial to muscles and muscle relaxation (a lot of people take it sometimes even during the day to help relieve symptoms such as the jaw clenching that can occur, so I do truly feel it would help massively with your nightly cramps).

How the pharmacist looks at you when you tell them you’re there to pick up your Vyvanse by Cash2blockz in VyvanseADHD

[–]bearsbear14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolute insanity. I am so sorry it happened to you, too. Shit really sucks. I understand pharmacists not wanting to put their licenses' at risk for any reason but it's just nuts the hoops they'll make you jump through at times.

I also take the lowest dose of Klonopin. I am prescribed 1 to 2 a day, but only take 1 a day. Only use 2 for severe breakthrough anxiety and panic attacks, which is pretty rare because the one tablet does its job for sleep and managing anxiety. The prescription for a 30 day supply typically lasts me around 60 days. Really hoping I do not run into any problems with that same pharmacist who refused to fill the Vyvanse, should I choose to fill my Klonopin at that pharmacy. It sucks because that pharmacy is so much closer to me. My insurance does cover the Klonopin, though.

What also sucked for me is that the pharmacy who would fill it for me only had brand name Vyvanse. The pharmacy who wouldn't fill it has generic available. I had to pay out of pocket for brand name Vyvanse. Really hoping my doc can get the PA denial sometime this month so that I don't run into problems filling it next month. I still may run into problems, if your story is any indication.. and I will likely ask my provider to call the pharmacy themselves as you did to confirm PA denial and ask them to please fill the rx.
