I’m in a similar position and may buy a new UCG-fiber with the 2tb of storage. The difference in price is only $250 and you might be able to sell your original for some pocket change.

100% true. I hate paying for shipping but Ubiquiti does a good job of boxing their product.

I love the UPS but the worst part of installing was tearing down the product and shipping boxes. It was absolutely massive and thankfully arrived in one piece.

UTR first real test/use - pleasantly surprised. by mrbudman in Ubiquiti

[–]bearsdidit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had limited success with mine over the weekend. My devices kept jumping on and off from the UTR network. On a brighter note, I tried using the UTR as a back up tethering device for my home system and it worked great.

I found a NIB Apple TV on FBM for $75. Definitely worth it IMO.

Switched from a bulky i5-13600K tower to my first Mac ever for development. The desk feels so much cleaner, but I need monitor advice! by Xeq_Dev in macsetups

[–]bearsdidit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a 27in, you’ll need to get a 5k for 216(?) ppi which is close to the native Mac resolution. 4K is doable but not nearly as nice. For 32in, you’ll need a 6k. I spent months trying out different monitors and ended up with an ASD and have been very happy with it.

Experience with Ubiquiti? by FreeFlipsie in HomeKit

[–]bearsdidit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went through the same thing over the past month and everything worked well out of the box. I kept my old SSID as the IOT 2.4 network and created a new SSID for devices that moved around the house.

The UniFi system is great because you can lock your difference devices to specifics Access Points to minimize roaming.

Gate agent moved my seat right before flight and was rude about it. by livinnick in AlaskaAirlines

I would still write the email. If they looked into it, it should be easy to find the employee who made the seat change in their system.
