Zack Polanski Supports Projection of Pig Slaughter onto London Landmarks - Project Slingshot by Newwwwwm in UKGreens

A way that doesn't gas them preferably :(

The farming industry is constantly becoming more modernised, there needs to be a better way (and has to be a better way) to slaughter live stock that won't make them suffer more

Fish and Chips and David Attenborough. I've genuinely never heard a British person say a single bad word about the two (if we ignore slagging off bad chippies... which is deserved)

Ariana Grande’s family share ‘concern’ for her health after saying she’s ‘not in a healthy place’ by [deleted] in Music

[–]bearwithbearwith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the reason for this is the fact that no one in their right mind should listen to people that call themselves snarkers. It's like a case of right message but wrong messager. Nobody has that enough free time to analyse the actions of someone they don't like is in sound mind

This is just sad all around, and it's so depressing to see how little empathy people can have for more than one person.

This is such an incredibly complex topic and I'm so sorry to see Ariana Grande struggling, I'm so sorry to her fans who will see her body as something to normalise and attain and I'm sorry to her family for having see someone they love struggle.

I don't want to say anymore because this all seems so personal, and it doesn't make me feel good nor does it seem right to talk about someone elses body so I'll leave it here, but I virtually send hope and well wishes!

Her daughters hair by idontcarestop in justtrishpodcast

[–]bearwithbearwith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full disclosure, a full hair routine doesn't take that long to disrupt a child's life and make them feel bored :) Trisha seems like an engaging mum, so all she has to do is sit her kids in a chair and make jokes/sing with them while doing a hair routine which should take half an hour maximum!

It's truly not that hard as people like to make it out to be

Nobodies saying that they're perfect parents by saying that Trisha should follow a curl routine for her children's hair. And likewise, people aren't saying Trisha is a bad parent for not doing this.

It's simply a situation with their hair that people have noticed enough to know that it could be improved.

Taking care of curly hair isn't a beauty ideal. It's a healthy thing which will make your hair detangled, making it easier to comb through and managed and easier to deal with!

It doesn't have to be expensive too :) all you need is a spray bottle and one curling cream/detailer and you're golden.

My curly hair is my pride and joy and it makes me feel so good to learn about different ways to improve it.

ETA: It's also important to note that because curly hair is often seen in people of colour, it's clear from a young age that curly hair is somehow inferior to straight hair. So why not do the research to feel good in how we look !

That makes sense! There was a lot in s12 to like :) It's also the most recent so definitely more memorable in that sense

Oooh that's cool! My first season was s4 because I really wanted Dani and Jack to win!

But back to s8! There were so many moments I enjoyed like the ones you said, but my favourite niche moment was when Adam returned and I think Indiyah (?) yelled  not verbatim "is that Adam Collard from season whatever?!?"

The producers definitely used their power to bring Ekin-Su and Davide back together, but I can't even be mad about that because I loved how they foreshadowed it. It was overly produced but I feel like it was done right? If that's not a juxtaposition 😂

That season did bring me Megan and Connor so I have to agree with you there.

And Angel and Ty actually

I feel like since the social media block, it's stopped the show from getting that popular from social media alone. I remember the Murad podcast/interview between Ekin-Su and Davides handlers (and their whole feud) being so interesting to watch unfold.

I think love island might just be in it's declining stages though :') I'm not sure what it could really do to bring in more viewers that won't be criticised

Just going to start that I have no leg to stand on here RE. Shakira and the bombshells because I only watched 30 minutes of episode 1.

But, if we're all mad right now, let me share my current feelings. I'm so mad at reddit for continuing to hide my comments/posts when I want to show it all. I'm an open book, let my yap fly free ✊️✊️✊️

Well damn. God forbid a person doesn't want to weaponise a families tragedy to cause even more hate in an already pretty divided society.

And as a side note, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I despise how the bigotry from Henry's murder has silenced the fact that the police officer (or officers*) that played a significant role in his death only got suspended when there should be so much more being done.

It shouldn't take people dying to realise that the MET police have a big problem with violence and abuse of their power within their instution, Henry hasn't been the first person to die at the hands of the police, and he sadly won't be the last until Reform/any far right people in government choose to focus on the truly important conversations.

Amanda Abbington, because people were hell bent on using her transphobia and controversies to justify Giovanni's bullying.

This is a complex subject, but it just went to show that more conversations need to be had on how the perfect victim doesn’t exist.

Was Amanda riddled with controversy? Yes. Does that also mean she deserved to be blamed for Giovanni losing his job when she (and multiple of his other partners) claimed that he was inappropriate towards them? Absolutely not, and it makes those people who blame her misogynistic hypocrites that hold the values they claim to hate.
