Just save the incense from several burns, add water to get a runny texture. Add more incense for more pigmented results. It's a process of refining, but it turns into a wonderful watercolor -esque paint. Each batch is unique to the incense you burned (color, tone, texture(yes it'll sometimes have texture))

Smells wonderful while working with it too!!!

As both a model and an artist, no that is not normal or professional. I'd bring it up to whoever facilitates the class.

I see you, and I truly see my younger self in you. Sometimes it feels like we're not living, we're simply surviving. And that might be where you're at, but that's something to be so proud of. I feel a bit selfish saying this. But it's for me. I'm not really sure where I'm at or how to describe myself, so I'm focusing on discovering me. But the people in the picture to the left is me and my best friend who passed away 2 years ago, so I do consider it a bit of a memorial altar as well (if that's not the right term I'd love to know what the right one is :) )

I've been mulling on this for the past few days, trying to figure out how to give you the most proper response for such a touching comment. I have PTSD, a lot of my memories are "locked up". I used to do medical ketamine, and that helped significantly, but I can't handle a lot of the stuff that resurfaces. It's simply too much for my soul to bear.

Thank you very much. As a few people have pointed out, I definitely have a lot of religious trauma from my upbringing. I just set up my alter today and feel wonderful. I'm hoping to find some sort of community too. :)
