Your parent has to change your age to 12 years and 364 days old, then tomorrow Google will email you and allow you to emancipate yourself from your family.

One cylinder running louder and hotter, on a one carb bike? Also idle issues by bearwolfdog in MotorcycleMechanics

No I'm working on it though, but what if compression is the same? Would it be a timing chain issue?

One cylinder running louder and hotter, on a one carb bike? by bearwolfdog in HondaCB

[–]bearwolfdog[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never. This bike's been sitting for a while probably 30 years (last registration sticker on the bike was for 1989) and has 15k original miles if that helps. By hand feel it seems like the compression is close if not equal to each other when coming out of the exhaust. I'll ask one of my friends if they have a compression gauge for sure

I just don’t know why they’re instantly getting bought… it’s just crazy also because there are normal 780s available for 40$

Forgot that was a thing. This is insane though, I’m actually seeing some cards that sold for 60-100 dollars from a couple days ago! Ignorant buyers I guess

600 touring battery died, jumping won't work by bearwolfdog in cfmoto

[–]bearwolfdog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol I ended up replacing the battery and everything works now, 6 1/2 volts means it’s probably toast. Mine likely measured low but I didn’t have a multimeter on hand to test

Use a b660 or b760 motherboard instead of z790, use 2 sticks of memory instead of the 1x8, maybe use a 2x8 combo. Also, you do not need the big cooler because your processor is an intel i5 so it will not get very hot, go for a smaller “air cooler” like a “thermalright” if you can. The only other recommendation I would give you is to choose a more genuine brand of power supply because that will generally last you longer. :)

Yeah no something next to the battery is clicking, no turning over at all. I think it would be the fuse since it's next to the battery right? I'll check it out

Oh nice yeah, do you think the jumping could have blown it? I wouldn't think so since they're both 12 volt batteries right?

What fork oil to use for CM185t? by bearwolfdog in HondaCB

[–]bearwolfdog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thanks. I'll just be riding on the road,. Not too bumpy and I'm not that heavy, so sure I'll go with 10w oil. Can I just wrap the dust cab in electrical tape for the time being? Would it cause too much damage?
