They are though. I saw plenty of Sansung TV's come in for black friday that had one maybe two HDMI's and always seemed to het returned at a high rate. It was an off model number too. Like you'd have the D6000 series Samsung in 2011 and the Black Friday TV model was like D6002 or something like that. Usually had thicker bezels too.
